Family Dental Care of Olathe

The dentist is fabulous. However I truly hate phone calls. And I have told them multiple times not to call my number. That they can text and confirm the appointment. And they will still call 2 to 3 times to confirm an appointment. I will answer, confirm, and they will still call again the following week. I answer, confirm again, and tell them to please not call again. And they will still call the day before the appointment to confirm. I really like this dentist otherwise I would leave because the office is....

Went in for a dental bond (front tooth) with insurance. Was told AFTER the dental bonding, "oh actually, we used a different procedure, and your insurance doesn't cover it.. But here, sign up for this BS CareCedit credit card." (at 26% interest, btw). And then the dental bonding fell out after 2 days. I call and she says "uhh, those don't usually just fall out.. You can come see us, but you might be charged again." I showed up, Dr. looked at it and said, "Yeah, it just fell out, no charge." Great customer service, 10/10.....

Dr Nagaraju is very good at what she does. She’s personable and knowledgeable. Her assistant Olivia is very sweet and kind. They love what they do. I put my trust in them and they explain everything in detail.

I would not recommend this office and agree with many of the reviews that they seem to be more interested in upselling. My new patient visit was in Dec. 2024. The visit took over two hours (much of it spent trying to sell me Invisalign (my teeth do not need Invisalign). They told me a filling needed to be replaced and they charged me for something I should not have been charged for. That did get resolved but was a hassle from an office that I was already frustrated with. I write this review almost a year later, because I found a new dentist, and I asked them specifically about the filling that may need to be replaced and they said it absolutely did not need to be replaced. I get that mistakes are made, but it does seem like many of these reviews create a pattern of carelessness or just general interest in getting you to pay for unnecessary services. Two stars because the hygienist was professional and kind and they got my teeth clean.

The entire team is consistently dialed in and consistently exceeds expectations. My last-minute schedule change on a recent visit - and sudden need for expediency - was accommodated, and service was seamlessly accomplished without sacrificing thorough, quality service. From the initial greeting at the front desk, to Bella (the best hygienist), to Dr Nagaraju, each team member communicated well and excelled; That’s why I drive a little further than I need to now for continued dental care with Family Dental Care of Olathe!

I was extremely happy with how fast they were able to see me. Dr. Harvey explained all he was doing and answered any question i had. The staff was wonderful as well. My new Dentist.

Yesterday was my first visit, and I'm very happy with them! Let's start with the check in process... It was very quick and they were able to let me know exactly what I was responsible for and what the insurance company would pay for. They got me back into the exam room in super quick time. Once there, the dental technician and the doctor were both very professional but also very friendly as they walked me through everything they were going to be doing. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. And I will definitely be utilizing them again!
