I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. James Murayama and his team. From start to finish, my experience at this office has been exceptional. Dr. Murayama is not only highly skilled but also incredibly kind and patient — he makes you feel completely at ease in the chair, which is rare for a dental visit! The staff deserves just as much praise. Tammy, the office manager, runs everything so smoothly. Yolanda and Marisa are always welcoming and helpful, making every visit feel stress-free. And Cory, the dental hygienist, is simply the best — thorough, gentle, and so easy to talk to. Everyone here is professional, compassionate, and genuinely cares about their patients. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for top-notch dental care with a personal touch.

I found my new dental home. Everyone is very friendly from the front to the back. First of all, they actually care to get to know you. Also, Tammy was great in coordinating and helping me with my needs and circumstances. Forgot the Hygienist’s name but he was thorough but gentle. And i had work done on one of my teeth done by Dr Murayama, and you can tell from the way he moves that he is very detail oriented and takes his time with his work. They may not know that i feel this but i really appreciate the attention to the work going in my mouth with the level of care they displayed. Also, he is incredibly friendly, witty, gentle, and has common sense and empathy. Found my new dental office!

I had such a great experience at this office from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease the entire time. Dr. Murayama was incredibly thorough, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. It’s obvious they genuinely care about their patients and the quality of their work. Had a great visit with Dr Kate Stepanek. She has a very calming demeanor and made me feel at ease. This is huge for me as I have massive dental anxiety. Thank you for helping me be so comfortable in your office. I’ve been to some offices where I felt pressured but she just told me the facts and let me decide on my treatment. I was fortunate to have found Dr. James Murayama at this office. He is very professional, courteous but overall friendly and approachable. I came in for a cracked crown that I had done in the office roughly 4 years ago with a former doctor. I was apprehensive of what it will cost to fix, because I was told that my guarantee maybe invalid over the phone. But when I went in to see the damage. I was graciously received by Dr. Murayama who agreed to honor the guarantee that I was given for my original crown. He didn’t have to do that and could have easily had me pay for a replacement crown but he chose to be a good person and because of that he created a patient for life. Thank you Dr. Murayama there aren’t many doctors out there that care and want actually help their patients and greatly appreciate there are still good trustworthy doctors. Also the dental assistant Arely was very friendly and professional she kept me informed through the whole process and will frequently ask if I needed anything (example water). Which was impressive and courteous considering they were very busy and and had many patients due to having a oral surgeon that day. I have to come in to put the final crown tomorrow and for once I am not nervous or scarred but relived knowing that I will be in good hand.

The hygienist and doctors at Quarry Creek Dental Group have always been great, but the billing practices are extremely unethical. At my July 30th, 2025 visit, the front desk staff strongly encouraged me to book a third cleaning for the year. They told me directly that my insurance covered a third cleaning and X-rays and that it would be completely free. Based on what they told me, they scheduled my appointment. When I arrived for that visit on December 9th, 2025, I was suddenly charged $97 and told that the third cleaning was not covered — the exact opposite of what their staff told me when they pushed me to book the appointment. I ended up paying for a cleaning I didn’t need and would never have scheduled if they had given me accurate information. This feels misleading and appears to be a tactic to drive unnecessary appointments under false pretenses. Patients rely on staff to give honest, accurate information — not to upsell services that aren't covered. I’ve requested a refund and hope the office reviews their billing and scheduling practices so this doesn’t happen to other patients.

Dr. Kate & Quarry Creek Dental Group instantly made me feel at home! Her calming chairside manner & gentle touch made this one of the most enjoyable dental visits I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend her enough!
