My appointment was scheduled for noon, but I waited in the waiting room for a full hour before I even went up to the desk to ask when I would be seen. I was finally brought in a while later Once I was taken back, X-rays were done. From the beginning, I clearly stated that I was there to get a chipped tooth fixed. One of the staff members mentioned a crown, and I agreed because I wanted the tooth fixed that day. However, no one explained what a crown involved or that it would require two separate visits. After the X-rays, I sat in the chair another 30–45 minutes waiting to see a dentist. When I finally saw one, I again mentioned wanting a crown and getting my tooth fixed, but there was no explanation of the process or next steps. Instead, I was repeatedly asked if I wanted to get a cleaning, which I initially declined because my concern was my chipped tooth. I eventually agreed, and the cleaning was done. After that, I was told I was "done," which was very confusing since my tooth still hadn’t been fixed. Only at the very end I was finally told that I needed a crown, and then they proceeded to tell me that it takes two sessions. This was never explained beforehand. And then I was told that they needed to process with insurance and that could take a week, which I don’t understand why it wasn’t told to me. They waited till the very end. My tooth was left sharp and was poking my tongue, and it was only shaved down after I pointed it out. I don’t have dental knowledge and relied on the staff to clearly explain my options. I left feeling confused and frustrated. All I wanted was to get my tooth fixed and understand what was being done. This isn’t my usual dentist, my dentist was full. my tooth chipped the day before my appointment. I called around and this clinic had an opening the following day.
At my exam the doctor said I have a small chip in a filling from biting, & that filling it back in would be so minor he probably wouldn't even need to numb me. Went back a few days later to get it done & the staff kept insisting I was there for a cavity filling, & needed numbing & drilling. I asked about what the doctor said numerous times & was just told repeatedly "it's a small cavity". My records, which were visible on the computer, note an occlusive fracture in the restoration (ie, not in the tooth itself...?) & the staff did not point out a cavity on my xrays or in my mouth. I'm not sure where the communication breakdown was, & it certainly also could have been with me! But I'm not in the habit of getting medical procedures until I understand what is being done & why. Was unfortunately unable to consult again with the doctor as he was already behind schedule so I just got my routine cleaning & left. The wait times at Bright Smiles are also crazy (2 hours for this encounter) but I understand scheduling is hard when you take emergency visits. I would only go back if I was having a true dental emergency & had no other options
I wonder who is responsible in this dental clinic?! 1st. My appointment were at 9 Am,I came 8:40 AM because I have another one at 10:30 AM. I got inside after 4 times asking. I'm not only the one who is frustrated but 5 are. I saw patients enter before us, I wonder do many walk in have a privilege over people who waited weeks to be seen. ?! 2nd. I came to see a specific doctor but that doctor was not in. I knew that after I sat in the chair. Some doctors are fine but the dental office need more professional workers. 3rd. I saw whom to be called a doctor, she was asking, "how much I'm paying to do my service" and that she wouldn't work another doctor plan, thats while she is working and my mouth opened. I'm not sure if she is a professional. I had to leave quietly and respectfully as my personality advice me. ?! THAT were odd. Correct, I were paying cash but that was weried for a dentist to ask the patient that type of question.!?! 4rd. Anyway, I'm not happy with the result, when I came home it feels like a gum behind my teeth. I'm not sure what to do as much of negativity and mix of feeling. Any services must respect, be positive, and treat it's customers in a unique way and in a healthy environment.
I went for a cleaning and left in pain, bloody gums and they didn't even clean my teeth. I never seen a Dr, they did 2 different X-rays and said I needed to come back for a deep clean in 2 weeks and then again a week after that! I also never seen a diploma or certificate hanging on the walls, it was very unprofessional and do not recommend at all.
They were able to get me in on a Friday last minute for severe tooth pain. The staff was friendly, professional, and they took their time to listen to my concerns. The dentist went over my options clearly and made me feel heard as well. This was my first experience here and I am grateful my old dentist office was not open that day because I found a new place I like better! I was a little nervous because of my tooth history but they made me feel very comfortable. Great place and will be back for more services in the future!
Pretty solid place. I came in as a new patient but they got me in for a cleaning and filling all in the same visit. Dentist pointed out some minor issues and said some dentists may be more aggressive in their approach (ie try to fix it right away) but she thought my teeth were fine and we could monitor it every 6 months. Overall, 10/10.
I was in terrible pain and called several places, but most wouldn’t take emergency appointments and the others didn’t accept state insurance. When I called this clinic, they answered right away and got me in within an hour. Dr. Fariba even performed a root canal the same day. I honestly can’t express how grateful I am to her and the team for making time for me when I needed help the most. I almost never write reviews, but I felt I had to because this clinic truly deserves recognition. I noticed some negative reviews, but my experience was the complete opposite — the care, kindness, and professionalism I received here were outstanding.
