I've been a patient at NVD for nearly 20 years. I recommend NVD to friends, coworkers, and family for one simple reason: honesty. I once asked Dr. Pham to perform a specific procedure, he declined and told me "Your oral health is fine and doesn't need that procedure. All you need is this other "blank" procedure, it's less traumatic for your gums and only 1/5 the cost." It was refreshing to see that for my benefits, he turned down the opportunity to earn more money. Aside from honest professional care, the office staff is also very patient with answering all my questions. About 95% of the times, I'm led to the dental chair within minutes of my appointment time by the office manager (Britzy), and always with a big friendly smile. I'm a grown man who's afraid of needles, knowing this, Britzy is always very attentive to help keep me calm, even telling me a reassuring "I'll be right back" anytime she needs to step away from the exam room. If they can take care of this big baby, I'd assume they'll have no problems taking good care of anyone in your family.

I’ve been a client of Dr.Pham for over 10 years and recently his dental assistant has been awful to work with. Over the last couple of cleanings, she would lecture me the full 30 minutes about how to clean my teeth despite telling her I do all the things already. This most recent cleaning, she was so aggressive and was very rude when I asked her to slow down as it was hurting. Now my gums are swollen and hurting for the last 4 weeks since the cleaning and I’ll have to go to a different dentist to have them checked,

I normally don’t write reviews, but wanted to thank Dr Pham and his staff for taking care of my mom when she visited. She was very happy with her treatment because the cleaning was painless, he was very nice, gave honest feedback and helpful he speaks Vietnamese. I’ve gone there for a couple years now, they’re very punctual, efficient, the office is clean, and everyone is professional.

I am one of those people who has a history of avoiding dental care until there was an emergency. A few years ago I found Dr. Pham, and my experience has been excellent. He has proven to be thoughtful and skilled, and both he and his staff make my comfort their first priority. Appointment reminders are gentle but very helpful, and when I have sometimes needed to request a last minute change there has never been a problem. I now receive regular dental care and have thus far avoided any further dental emergencies.

Clean, professional, friendly and clean again. You can't ask for much more when choosing a dentist. Dr. Pham and his staff have been nothing short of phenomenal over the years I have been visiting this office. I would highly recommend this him to make you feel comfortable in an environment where most people normally aren't.

We have been seen Dr Pham for well over 15 years. Dr Pham and his staff are very kind and honest. They treat all their patients as if they were family. We moved out to Lathrop from San Jose about 10 years ago. Tried to see other dentists near Lathrop but we were not happy with the service they were giving us. We make the 1 hour plus commute to get the honest, friendly, caring service we all deserve at North Valley Dental from Dr Pham and his staff.

Dr. Pham is my son’s dentist. After we consulted with unscrupulous dentists in our area (San Mateo Co.) who wanted to do a bunch of unnecessary work on his teeth when he was only 5-6 years old, we decided to switch to another provider—Dr. Pham is highly recommended. We drive a long way to get to the office but it’s so worth it because Dr. Pham is thorough, explains procedures well, and will not ask to do unnecessary procedures if there are alternatives to try first. He is great with our son and he explains things to us parents very well also. His staff and team are all very professional and accommodating. So glad we have found someone we can trust.
