Van is their hygienist and she does terrific dental cleanings. She is very attentive, gentle and makes sure that I am set before beginning my cleaning . She always answers all my questions and is careful with my sensitivity areas. I highly recommend Van. Front office gals Taylor and Coco are always smiling and make me feel at home, very professional and makes checking in and out such a breeze. thank you

Update: Milpitas Smile Design responded below with a completely random response about "narcotics". No where in my review I talked about narcotics. This was their attempt to give the impression that had a proper response to a review. It shows how malicious they are. Be cautious! (End of update) I usually never ever leave a review (whether good or bad) but my experience at Milpitas Smile Design raised serious red flags about how they operate and people should know this. I’m tired of dental practices taking advantages of patients. Here’s my story: I called Milpitas Smile Design and wanted to get retainers for my top arch but needed to get the Invisalign attachments removed first. Coco told me there is no issues removing the attachments and then quoted me $200 for the retainers. I agreed and made an appointment. Then, this is where the red flags started after I agreed to the pricing. Coco made me speak to another person (Taylor) and suddenly , I’m quoted different pricing for the retainers and additional fees. In total, I was quoted three completely different prices for removing Invisalign attachments from my teeth (they called it a "debanding" fee) — first Coco told me it was only $200 for the retainers, then Taylor tells me an additional $400 is required to remove the Invisalign attachments, and finally Sandy calls me again the next day and re-quoted me $450 on top of now a new price of $250 for retainers. That kind of inconsistency is not only unprofessional but feels deliberately misleading. To make matters worse, they expected me to pay $450 just to remove attachments on one arch — I knew that this was a simple 10–15 minute procedure. I called several other dental clinics in the area, and none of them charge a "debanding" fee at all. This felt like an attempt to take advantage of patients who may not know any better. After seeing the inconsistencies and greed for money, I was obviously not going to them anymore. They then tell me that I would incur a $50 change/cancellation fee. I told them that they can keep their trash service and imaginary $50 "fee" at this point. This clinic gave me the impression that making money is a higher priority than patient care or honesty. If you’re considering Milpitas Smile Design, be cautious, get everything in writing, and don’t hesitate to shop around first! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

From the second coco answered the phone to the second Dr. Chu sent me on my way, I was very pleased. I have high anxiety when it comes to dental care and they made my visit feel so safe and secure. Leslie did an amazing job as well and I look forward to future visits here!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Despite a lot of anxiety about the process, the doctor and the nurse who did my extraction were wonderful and helped me calm my nerves. Definitely recommend.

I recently had a crown replaced and have had cleanings and other dental work done here in the past, and I couldn't be happier with my experiences. From the moment I walk in, the staff is welcoming and friendly. Dr.Sandhu is not only knowledgeable, but she is kind, gentle, and takes the time to explain everything that’s being done. As someone who is typically nervous going to the dentist, I feel safe and heard at this practice. The hygienist who performed my cleaning was thorough and gentle, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The cleanliness of the clinic itself was impressive, and I felt at ease knowing they maintain high standards for hygiene. Staff took the time to explain everything to me as far as billing, how long I would expect to be there, and even tips for maintaining my oral health between visits. Overall, I highly recommend Milpitas Smile for their services. They consider how much you can afford then are willing to work with you in various ways for those who are uninsured. They combine professionalism with a friendly and caring approach that makes a trip to the dentist a pleasant experience. I'll definitely be returning for my future dental needs and already booked my next appointment!
