I've been going to Dr. Hwang for my dental needs for over 15 years, regular checkups and even dental implant fittings. I always get professional on-time treatment. Dr. Hwang puts your interests first and is a dentist you can trust. Her office staff are also very professional and there is essentially no turnover in the office which tells you how good a practice she runs. I strongly recommend Dr. Hwang.

I had scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hwang's office weeks in advance. I confirmed my appointment via the text messaged they sent. When I arrived, the office seemed to be closed which I thought was odd, but I chalked it up to a likelihood of the staff taking their lunch the hour before my appointment. When I tried the door again, I noticed a staff sweeping the office. She opened the door and when I told her that I was here for my appointment, she told me I was not on the schedule. I was completely baffled and showed her that I had confirmed via text the appointment. She proceeded to tell me that my child had called to cancel the appointment on my behalf. Ok--IF I HAD A CHILD. Staff then asked me if I had received a phone call to confirm my appointment. I explained to her that I was a new patient. She then hands me paperwork to complete, and states, "you can complete these, but we don't have you on the schedule." This is where my blood starts boiling, because: 1. I am a NEW patient--is this how I am going to be treated moving forward? 2. There was no apology of the mistake; and, I felt like they blamed that on me--the person who doesn't work at the office. 3. I was not rude in my interaction and had the understanding that things happen, until the paperwork was shoved at me and was not communicated if the Dentist would even see me. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review -- especially towards small/local/family-owned businesses; however, the way I was treated as if my time didn't matter is inexcusable. A small apology or acknowledgement of the mix-up would have gone a long way.

These wonderful folks have been proving excellent dental service to our family for over 15 years. Dr. Hwang and her staff, Patricia and Natalie are the kindest and most thoughtful people in the dental field. I appreciated them greatly. Thank You!
