I've been going to this place for a few years now. I've had my wisdom teeth pulled. I get regular cleanings. The office staff is great. The hygienists are great. The dentist the Great and the surgeon what's really good. The best dentist office of ever been to won't be making any changes

The staff at Metairie Modern were outstanding. I was blown away by the kindness and care I was shown from the moment I walked in the door. On top of the clean, peaceful setting it was the most comfortable dentist visit I’ve ever had despite needing extensive work. Dr. Tingstrom, Jaylan, and Wyn, I can’t thank you enough for giving me my smile back. Here’s to much deserved success for you in 2026!

I wanted to Thank Monica Filos (I hope I picked the right business card) who was kind enough to recommend that I get Closys. It WORKED! Sorry, I left my wallet at Honolulu Airport and recently had it returned, that explains my delay. I took my Mom to Modern Dentistry on Veterans. She lived Dr Tingstrum and the dental hygienist. Both were the absolute best professionals we have ever had. My Mom is 94 yo and so sensitive. She absolutely had no pain. There exam was thorough and an excellent experience.

Fantastic experience from front desk check in, to cleaning and exam, and check out. Great communication, knowledgeable techs, and Dr Scipione and Monica were THE BEST. Your mouth will be very happy you chose Metairie Modern Dentistry!

I highly recommend this place from the time you enter until the time you leave everyone is friendly. I had a procedure done and Kailen my hygienist was super friendly, very patient and informative. She thoroughly explained everything before having the procedure done. She made me extremely comfortable and the procedure was painless . I was shocked when I left and had no discomfort. Whenever I have to return I’m definitely requesting Kailen for all my visits!

10/10 and then some!!! I never thought I would actually look forward to going to the dentist but the staff at Metairie Modern Dentistry make it such a sweet and light experience. Tonya is phenomenal—she is very charismatic which made me feel comfortable upon arrival. She made check-in smooth and made sure I knew all the run down with insurance and payment information. From what I see she runs the ship and does it very well! I saw Dr. Lockhart, who took the time to greet me and walk me back for my first appointment which felt very personable and caring. She listened thoroughly to my previous dental experiences and took note of my (usual) difficulty to numb. Throughout her exam she vocalized each step and explained things to me which made me feel informed and apart of the process. I had to go back for a couple fillings and Dr. Lockhart numbed me completely on the first try(!!! all previous places I have been to usually took a few tries) and was so gentle and efficient. Her calm, warm demeanor and clear communication make me feel like I am in good hands. Highly recommend Metairie Modern Dentistry! Thank you for making the dentist a less scary place. You guys are awesome!
