Dentists of Metairie

Thank you so much to Dentists of Metairie. I have always been very nervous and affected by sounds at the dentist office. Dr. Theriot & his entire staff have made this experience so much easier. They are kind, compassionate, and accommodating. They lowered the volume on tools, checked on me constantly, offered me a fidget toy to distract me, and even encouraged me to bring noise cancelling headphones next visit. I highly recommend them since they treat you like family.

I always have a good experience here. Staff is kind, accommodating, and talented. My aggravation comes from the time management at this office. I have been here for 5 visits over the past 6 months and most times there’s a wait that’s much longer than you’d expect. I’ve waited up to an hour after my appointment time, and this doesn’t count the wait time once in the chair, between procedures and X-rays. It seems like these aren’t isolated incidents but the norm here. I feel bad for the staff, maybe they’re spread thin and it’s not their fault. It’s terribly aggravating but I continue to come because of the work they do and I just love them.

Could not recommend enough! I made an appointment and was seen in the same day. They took great care of me and everybody was so lovely and super helpful. Made going to the dentist a very enjoyable experience.

I recently went in for a cleaning. The staff, Annaley, Jada, Sara & Dr. T were friendly and accommodating. The office is always so clean & bright. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I have recommended them to my colleagues, which the office is close proximity to work and utilize our dental insurance.

Tonya, Kaylin, and Tyler were all very accommodating. I moved here from Texas over a year ago and they have been wonderful and that’s why I keep coming back.

I appreciate the info. It is extremely expensive and I am not sure if I can meet such high costs. It never seemed this severe in Ohio. I have always had the best dental in the past. The facility was fine, and the people are nice.

⸻ ⭐☆☆☆☆ This office demonstrated a concerning lack of professionalism from both the dentist and the front desk clerk. Communication was dismissive, poorly handled, and inappropriate for a healthcare setting. As a physician, I am well aware of professional standards and how patients should be spoken to. Basic courtesy, clear explanation, and respectful interaction were noticeably absent. The tone and manner used were unacceptable and reflect poorly on the practice as a whole. Dr . Theriot , Healthcare professionals are held to high standards for a reason. This office failed to meet them. I would not recommend this practice based on staff conduct alone. Dr. Theriot , personally, and his staff lacked professionalism .
