Over the years, I struggled with serious dental issues due to about 70% bone loss in my lower jaw. I was extremely diligent with oral hygiene and avoided eating anything hard, but I knew it was only a matter of time before I would lose all of my lower teeth. Before knowing Dr. Wang, I had worked with two periodontists. One retired and referred me to another. What I gradually realized was that they mainly recommended procedures they were comfortable or capable of performing, rather than providing or suggesting the best long-term solution for my condition. Anyway, I took their clip-on denture solution and went halfway through the procedures (already costed me a lot). Fortunately, before completing that path, I met Dr. Wang, which changed everything. I feel extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Wang through a recommendation from a friend at church. From the very beginning, I felt confident that she truly understood my condition and were focused on providing the best solution. Of course, Dr. Wang’s relevant credentials are highly impressive. I knew that going through a full fixed denture process would be intimidating and stressful, but Dr. Wang made the entire journey smooth, well-planned, and surprisingly comfortable. I started my first procedure in October 2024, and now I am ready to have my permanent denture installed next month (February 2026). The most major procedure I underwent was extensive bone grafting of my entire lower jaw. My entire lower-jaw gum was cut open, bone graft material placed, and stitched back, and then a temporary fixed denture was installed. It was a very intensive operation, yet it was performed exceptionally well. So happy to be in Dr. Wang's good hands. The bleeding stopped within two days, and the recovery was very smooth. The temporary fixed denture custom-made for me has been working extremely well. I almost forget that I have artificial teeth. I took several overseas trips with these temporary teeth and never worried that they might break and ruin my travel. I did break them twice, but it did not significantly affect their use, and Dr. Wang fixed them quickly as soon as I returned from my trips. I was advised not to eat nuts while wearing the temporary teeth, but as a pistachio lover, I broke that rule from time to time when I forgot that I even had a dental problem. That alone shows how confident I was in Dr. Wang’s work. Over this entire period, I had about a dozen visits and procedures. Each time, recovery was quick, and I was able to use my teeth or temporary teeth within a day. I travel frequently for business, and Dr. Wang was incredibly thoughtful in arranging my treatment schedule to fit my travel needs perfectly. I am deeply grateful for her professionalism, skill, patience, and genuine care. This experience has truly changed my quality of life, and I highly recommend Dr. Wang to anyone facing complex dental challenges and looking for a doctor who is truly knowledgeable, capable and put the patient first. What was once a painful and intimidating experience has now become a great conversation topic that I often bring up at the dinner table with friends. Instead of fear or regret, it has turned into a positive and even enjoyable way to talk about how modern dental technology and skilled doctors can truly improve our lives. Thanks to Dr. Wang, this journey has brought not only restored function, but also confidence, peace of mind, and a better quality of life. P.S. I had surgery here for periodontal disease. It was so successful and very reasonably priced. I now go for a follow up and periodic Cleaning and they do a wonderful thorough job. They’re a very caring lovely place to go if you have to go to a dentist.
