Alderwood Children's Dentistry

We recently moved to this area and weren’t sure where to take our kids for dental care. While searching on Google, we found this clinic and were so glad we did. The office has a very kid-friendly interior, and all of the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The hygienists were wonderful with our children, and the dentist — who speaks Korean fluently — explained everything clearly and treated my daughter with great care. We are truly thankful for such a positive experience and highly recommend this place to other families, especially those with young children.

Dr DK and staff did a fantastic job with my little one. We were refferd by my dentist to see him. They stated they could take care of his cavities but didn't want to take a chance and make trauma experience that carries through his adult life. I'm so thankful we ended up at alderwood Children's Dentistry. They got us in fast, and he had a wonderful experience. He is already looking forward to his next visit.

Our family had an outstanding experience with this office. When our son broke his tooth, the team got us in quickly and treated him with such incredible care. From the front desk to the hygienist to the anesthesia team, every single person was kind, patient, and reassuring. It’s clear they truly understand how to support children, including those with sensory needs or who may require a little extra patience. Dr. DK was especially wonderful with our son — calm, compassionate, and incredibly skilled. It’s rare to find a dental office that feels this welcoming, supportive, and genuinely invested in their patients’ well‑being. We’ve already shared with many families that this is the perfect environment for ALL children, and we plan to continue bringing both of our kids here. We are so grateful for everything the team has done for us. Highly recommend this practice to any family looking for exceptional pediatric dental care!

I am so glad we switched to this dentist! It seems they have thought of everything. An entertaining waiting room, 10 different flavors of toothpaste, live fish tank, and a show and tell before the cleaning to reduce fear. Chairs are lined up so siblings can sit together. Every chair has a TV above it so kids can watch a show of their choice. They get a coin at the end of the appointment to get a prize from a gumball machine. Sea creature themed, which are little one loved. Do you know I have so many pictures for this review? Because I was texting my husband the whole time and telling him how cute it was! Dr is kind and warm.

Dr. DK and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and professional! Everyone was so patient, kind, and friendly, which made our kids feel comfortable and safe. They truly know how to work with kids and make them feel safe and happy 🙂 We are so grateful to have found such an amazing pediatric dentist! Highly recommend!

Absolutely blown away by Dr. Lim’s dedication to patient care! He and his entire team truly go above and beyond to make sure families feel confident, comfortable, and satisfied with the care they provide. Attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind, Dr. Lim clearly cares about the reputation of his clinic and, most importantly, about the well-being of his little patients. He took all the time needed to ensure that I, as a parent, was fully comfortable with the treatment plan he proposed, carefully explaining every step in detail without rushing or cutting corners. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Lim for his kindness, understanding, and wonderful care he provided to my 5-year-old, as well as to every member of his amazing team.

Dr. DK was extremely patient and supportive during and after my son’s treatment. We truly appreciate how understanding he was of our emergency situation and how well he took care of everything by providing the best possible treatment. My son did very well and is happy and comfortable with the doctor - even after the tooth extraction. Highly recommended.
