Forest Dental Center: Dr. Joshua A. Binder

As a Veteran, I’m used to the 'you get what you get, and you don’t throw a fit' style of dental care. Usually, that means being treated by someone who looks like they’re filling out tax forms instead of fixing teeth, and who hasn't cracked a smile since the mid-90s. But when the VA sent me to Forest Dental Center, the game changed completely. I requested a female dentist (shoutout to Dr. Binder for being a total pro about it!), and I ended up with Dr. Lauren Weber. Let me tell you—she is the absolute GOAT of the dental realm. People are quick to jump on a keyboard when they have a bad experience, but we’re way too quiet when things are great. And this was great. Dr. Weber is clearly someone who loves what she does, and it shows. She was incredibly funny, high-energy, and most importantly, meticulous. She handled my new crowns with such attention to detail that I felt like I was getting a custom-fitted suit for my teeth. The best part? I was in and out in under 1.5 hours, and the whole thing was completely pain-free. I’m actually looking forward to going back in a month to get these things permanently attached—and who actually says that about the dentist?! If you want a dentist who is kind, skilled, and actually has a personality, see Dr. Weber. A huge thank you from a very grateful Veteran for the world-class care!

When have you ever heard someone say, "I can't wait for my next Dental Appointment!"? Well that's what I said after my first visit to Forest Dental. From the moment I walked into the reception lobby, I was greeted with smiles, (maybe an obvious thing being a Dental practice 😆 ), morning salutations and a very comfortable, respectful atmosphere. I had a not so standard health and dental checkup to evaluate my overall dental health. Now when I say not so standard, I mean to tell you that every moment was fun and very comfortable. Kayla, my Dental nurse was so engaging and made even X-rays simple, quick, and easy. My Dentist Dr. Binder was just as engaging and very thorough. Even upon check out the lovely ladies were just as bright as sunshine. We all have to see the Dentist, whether it be for routine care or more serious situations. For a lot of us, it has not been a favorable experience. I can tell you unequivocally, once you come here, you will never go to another Dental office again!

The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Dr. Binder is very professional, knowledgeable, and does amazing dental work. Lisa, the VA coordinator is on top of treatment plans and follows up with all the details needed. Elizabeth is one of the best dental hygienist I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years. She’s friendly, personable and works hard to kept my teeth in tip top condition. The entire staff at this clinic are devoted to patient care. Two thumbs way up!

I have been going here for several years since moving to the area. Lovely staff all around!!! The front desk staff is very kind and attentive. All of the hygienists I’ve worked with have been amazing and thorough. I have never left feeling as if they were rushed, which has been an issue for me at previous dentist offices when getting cleanings. Dr. Binder and his team are amazing and all have great bedside manners. Dr. Weber is awesome and was very thorough when listening to an ongoing issue I had. She was able to investigate further and identify the problem for me and help to alleviate the pain. I really appreciate her!!!

Office staff is very friendly and personable. Natalie, my dental hygienist, is very thorough and gentle. She explains everything she does and takes the time to listen to concerns. Dr. Binder’s care and treatments have always been exceptional.

Rebecca was fabulous! Shes warm and professional and definitely gave a wonderful first and lasting impression. She is most certainly an asset to the practice. Dr. Binder was great as well, and his practice will certainly keep me coming back. I am so happy that the VA works with them.
