Dr. Shepherd Sittason, DDS

Had a wonderful experience with this office yesterday. My son has been a patient since 2016. Unfortunately my son had an accident at school and had trauma to his upper front teeth on Tuesday and was in pain. I called the office after hours and Dr. Stewart returned my call within minutes to check on my son. He gave excellent advice over the phone and was willing to see him at the office that evening but we decided an emergency visit on Wednesday would be the best options. The entire office from the moment we arrived was welcoming and friendly. Dr. Stewart was very caring and thorough with the exam of my son, which can be difficult because he has Down Syndrome and does not like dental visits. I cannot express enough how impressed I was with my sons care and the gentle nature of Dr. Stewart. Dr. Sittason also stopped in to check on my son before we left. I greatly appreciate the concern both dentists showed toward my child. I would highly recommend this office to any parent of a child with special needs or delicate medical conditions.

Moving to the Botetourt Co. area from KY in 2008 we were recommended to Children’s Denistry of Lynchburg, Dr. Sittason. A Family friends sweet daughter worked as his Dental Hygienist. My daughter was "4" then, soon to be "12", had been getting regular checkups since she was 18 mos., and had not overcome her fear of Drs. or Dentist unfortunately. I cannot express how Happy we are with Childrens Dentistry of Lynchburg are Awesome, from receptionist, staff and of course Dr. Sittason, extremely thorough, great with kids. They won over my daughter’s Trust over by the first couple of visits. I highly recommend this Group to any Parents for their Child’s Dental needs. "A GREAT TEAM", I drive 1 hour to this Group and would probably drive 2 hours if necessary.

Got an estimate that was over $3k for my daughter's baby teeth when she was 10, ready to loose the baby teeth. I got a 2nd Dentist to look.at her & 90% was not needed. I would have put her in all that pain for nothing
