Goodland Dentistry & Braces

This is a 3-part review starting with today 1/22/26 going back to July 2025, and include Oct 17, 2025. My son got 3 supposed fillings today. It took all of 20 min. Since when does excavating a cavity, cleaning the area where the cavity was, filling the cavity, and doing bite patterns on THREE TEETH take 20 minutes?! Well I'll tell you. There were no bite patterns done. My son is now complaining of his fillings being way too smooth and one causing him excessive pain. BEFORE the appt started, I told the front desk today I wanted to cancel my son's appt and go to Wellness Pointe as that's where I've moved. They proceeded to check me in on my phone bc they're new check in is digital and it was not working. I wish I pushed the issue. This is ridiculous we keep having issues with this company. I have gone to the one on Estes and been told I had a cavity that I didn't have when I got a second opinion at Wellness Pointe. I have verifiable proof this Goodland Dental said I had a cavity that didn't exist. At the very least American Dental Association and OAG need to know the shoddy and shady practices of this company. They put braces on my daughter where brackets keep popping off and every time I turn around she's saying, "no i can't eat that bc i have braces." I ate steak and ribs with mine and never had an issue. She won't even eat a sandwich. It's always taken and mashed potatoes and rice. How are brackets coming off?!? That's wild. We are cancelling the braces and getting them off too. I want nothing more to do with this company. I do not trust them at all. I do not recommend them at all.

Absolutely terrible with scheduling. And need to modernize. There is no reason one has to fill out 10 forms after every visit. They said because my son is 7 that he we absolutely cannot schedule an earlier time because they prioritize younger patients, yet I have had an early appointment for a procedure done there. They expect a child to starve all day for a procedure when other, more competent dentistries can schedule earlier times if available.

Well I use to love this dentist office and would drive anywhere from 45 minutes - 2 hours for my kids dentist appointments but after today and the way my 8 yr old was treated I do believe I’ll be finding a new dentist for my kids. Now I do not know names but I will say the man and Hispanic woman who seen my kids today were absolutely amazing! Now that blonde haired woman who worked on my 8 yr old was down right UGLY and DISRESPECTFUL, my 8 yr old was already stressed out due to the test results we got today from Krantz, and the woman at Goodland made it 10 times worse , especially when my child asked her very politely not to use a certain toothpaste and to not hurt him, she disregarded what he asked of her and continued to be hateful to my child to the point we had to hold his hands down and try to calm him down, I had to walk out of there because my toddler was throwing a fit, then that woman told the other lady in there that she needed to write down that they couldn’t finish their job because my son was having behavioral issues and if he were to brush his teeth everyday she wouldn’t have to for him and that she couldn’t handle him like that.. I’ve been bringing my kids to goodland dentistry since my oldest son was 1 and he’s 13 now, they have always been so respectful and good with my kids until today.. After seeing my son treated like that I will be finding a new dentist for my kids for future visits.

Now that my son is getting his braces off today and I never have to step foot in this place again, I will share my experience. This place is the worst. If you have an appointment at 9am, expect to sit in the waiting room until 9:40am before being called. My son had two of his wisdom teeth removed. 6 weeks later, we returned to have the other 2 removed as per the doctor. They cut into the freshly healing incisions and told my son that he didn't have wisdom teeth present. Turns out he didn't need the other two removed, they were using an outdated X-ray from before the surgery. They stitched the double opened incision up and prescribed more antibiotics. I didn't get an explanation nor an apology and neither did my kid. Absolutely unacceptable negligence. My son is 17 and goes to the back by himself for ortho. He says he spends most of the time waiting and when the girl finally comes in, she has no idea what she is doing. I hope the $5000 I spent on braces actually did something positive for him because I have 0 faith in this place. I will never step foot into this establishment again. There are better places that accept Medicaid. This is just Kool Smiles 2.0 & I honestly don't understand how they are still operating.

My daughter got her braces done here when she was 12 she is 13 now and still has them on.they called me the same day they put them on saying that they forgot to clean their tool before using them on me and they said I would have to take her to the er.well 1 or 2 days later she was puking constantly and I had to take her to the er. Everyone they would fix her braces and one fell of they would blame it on my daughter.theh said they fell of cause she had to much saliva.the orthodontist is kinda mean he made me and my daughter sighn a waver saying if she broke anymore bravest he would just end the contract and not help us anymore and she will not get retainer and her teeth will go back to normal. So it was basically a waste of 4 thousand dollars.the dentists are rough while doing the braces too. My daughter said they were to rough while doing her braces. It has been them just blaming my daughter for everything. Even though it is their mistake. If you want braces don't go here it sucks.also the staff members are rude including the front desk lady she just gives everyone attitude If you want to get poisoned coa8se they don't clean their tools before using them on people then go here. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

We’ve used this office for multiple procedures for my children. For the most part it’s been ok. We went in on Friday bc my son was having issues where is wisdom teeth were removed in June at this office. The dentist took an x ray, didn’t even look in his mouth. Argued that the issue was on the bottom, via x ray. The top area is swollen and has mucus looking spots where the tooth was removed. He acted like we were idiots bc "clearly the x ray shows the bone hasn’t healed back on the bottom properly".. very poor bedside manner and not thorough or accurate at all.. guess he was ready to go home and get on with his weekend. He ended up righting a prescription for an antibiotic and saying we may need to follow up with an oral surgeon… which is what I thought we were doing there! It’s day 3 taking them and he’s still in pain and we are going to have to find a different oral surgeon to schedule an apt with to get to the issue. On top of that Scheduling or questions end up being a nightmare bc your calls go to a call center that is in charge of multiple departments and offices.. I wish we would’ve gone with a smaller more intimate practice.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! If I could give zero stars I would. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this office location. Communications is terrible and they will cancel your appointments without notifying you. I scheduled all 3 of my children for an appointment at 9. And none of my kids was seen or got any services from this place. Theyre really in to wasting your time. I was warned not to come here but I wanted to have my own experience. And judging off all the bad reviews of this place I should’ve listened. Highly disappointed ☹️
