Cleaning went great, first time visit was told I needed my wisdom teeth taken out. Never been told that before. Whole appt took hour and 40 mins. Long wait. I would never come here again. Kind of scary place. Then make you sign an agreement for services where price is left blank. Dentist said ‘ ill take em out now and it’ll take a few mins’ I was like what are you saying, not happening. She said oh come on, it’ll be quick. I then had to verify with hygenist she wasn’t going to go in and remove them after I signed this ‘ agreement’

I am not somebody who shy's away from honesty. With that being said, do not go here. Go somewhere else. I swear to God, go somewhere else. I'm begging anyone who reads this review to go somewhere else. The front desk receptionists are sweet. The Lead dental tech is nice, hardworking, and respectful. He tried his best to make sure my experience was a positive one. He's a good dude who means well and deserves a nicer place to work. This one star is for them and them only. They are the only good parts about this place. Yes, there are multiple dentists who come through. Faces change all the time. Teeth cleaning was okay. Post Root Canal Procedure: I had 3 strangers in one sitting put their hands into my mouth (2 weeks after) without my direct permission in their own individual attempts to attach a crown that did not fit. On multiple occasions, I was sat in the chair and told one thing only to be told something completely different about my dental plans while I was physically being worked on. (How can you physically express your opinion or ask questions while you're currently being worked on?) Stressful. So... believe me, the level of miscommunication is beyond extraordinary. To top it all off, they shove contracts in your face to get you to sign for next steps or procedures so you don't leave as a patient. Saw right through that. How is that appropriate? How is that going to get me to stay? It's not. Their sitting room chairs are not clean. They have a lot of stains, from what? I don't know. That's not something I usually mention because I'm not there for the chairs, but I at least want to feel comfortable sitting before I head in. Wait times did not take long, I usually had appointments set up so I can't speak for walk in's. The financial advisor is arrogant and speaks to you as if you don't know any better about anything. How is that helpful? It's not, it's just plain rude and disrespectful to people. Do better, please. The dentist who did my root canal did a good job but he is also arrogant which sucks, hate that. At times he was quite patient and understanding, so that's nice. Despite the arrogance, that guy knows what he's doing. There was another dentist who did my fillings who was impatient with me. I was told one side of my mouth would be numbed before the fillings. But I guess the dentist had other last minute plans. So, when I got prepped, my whole mouth was numbed with multiple injections, and they hurt pretty bad. (again... more miscommunication). So, if you have dental anxiety or are afraid of needles, please keep this in mind. That caused my anxiety to heighten and tipped me into nervous tics (developed through past trauma). I personally have a "fair" pain tolerance and the dentist who did my fillings was an older gentleman, so I can't completely blame him for his impatience with me. Just keep in mind that he did not express understanding or consideration when my nervousness took over; which I think is very important to consider for others who may have dental anxieties. I'm not perfect, but I am honest and I believe in telling the truth and being fair to others because it fosters communal growth and mutual success, which is beneficial for everyone. This is my experience. I've chosen to share here what I am comfortable with. I wish I could say what wasn't shared was positive, but not really. I focused on the aspects of service I received that may be helpful to others. Do with this information what you will and visit at your own risk, even though I severely advise against it. From the bottom of my heart, please, take your hard earned money you spend months to work for and invest it in an office that will make the effort toward making you feel comfortable and appreciated and not belittled, small, and at a loss.

My husband and I were assigned to this dental office by our insurance, and after talking to Sharae on the phone and checking out their reviews, we were pleased. When we visited on Friday, however, our experience was less than satisfactory. James and Sharae were wonderful by the way, so this review isn't about them. The second star is for James and Sharae actually, because they were stars! After filling out paperwork, we waited a while until we were invited back to receive services. Wait times are obviously expected, but we waited half an hour until we were given x-rays and then waited another 20 minutes after that to be seen by the hygienist, who only popped in to let us know the dentist would be there shortly. After another 10 minutes of waiting, the dentist came in (idk his name because he didn't give it, but he was an older man). The dentist checked our x-rays and looked inside our mouths, decided we needed a deep cleaning, and left. He was there for less than three minutes. We thought we'd be receiving cleanings afterwards, but Marc (a hygienist? An administrative assistant? An office salesperson? We weren't made aware of his job title) came in to tell us that since the dentist said we both needed deep cleanings, we would need to spend $1,000 after insurance to get any service at all. I asked if we could just receive regular cleanings before we went home to discuss the deep cleanings (which neither of us have ever needed, but that's beside the point) but Marc in the Givenchy glasses and Panerai watch told us that would be like "putting a bandage on a wound that needs stitches" and stressed that we both NEEDED deep cleanings and that they didn't want to do a regular cleaning because the office would be "liable" for something (we weren't made to understand what that means). Marc did give us the option to sign a waiver saying we acknowledged we had gum disease (news to me!) but we were so overwhelmed and disappointed by that point that we decided to decline any services and leave. Needless to say, we will be finding a new dentist's office that offers basic cleanings, as we expected to have received when we visited Ace Dental, not a shakedown for money we don't have (and we plainly told Marc that we didn't have). Husband here! I'm adding my bit. We are both ~30 with no cavities and no wisdom teeth. Do not come here unless you want to spend money on top of basic insurance. I was kept separate from my wife when being told the financial news by Marc - we first spoke together about "the offer" after making it outside. Plainly put, we did not get basic service and we had to uncomfortably excuse ourselves from a weird dynamic where only our money is on the line. As a note, I feel as though Marc was more interested in finding out where my accent is from than my dental health (my accent is from England by the way, same as me! Seems irrelevant though - I speak the language and I am not at the dentist to entertain you). Thanks and have a good one!

Ace Dental: The chairs in the waiting room are not padded. The armrests are hard and triangular shape and uncomfortable. The room I was in had no door only a curtain and was directly across from the bathroom less than 10 ft. Also they keep the temperature way cool, so dress warm... The quality of work was excellent and the staff was professional and I appreciate that. thank you.

So I came with my mom here with a big problem that no one else didn’t want to deal with! And doc Ricardo fixed the root canal without any problems! We are so grateful for that! Very professional, kind, caring dentist! Will never forget that!
