I love this dental practice and all the staff! The hygienist Son is very professional and experienced he does excellent work. My teeth always feel super clean and beautiful when I leave from my cleaning appointments. Dr. Ung is a wonderful dentist she is very kind and gentle and professional. All the staff here are wonderful, friendly, and informative! My visits to this dental practice have always been very positive. I’ve been coming here for 15 years now. Growing up before finding this dental practice I didn’t have good experience with other dentists. My first time at this dental office I saw the huge difference and I have been a fan of this dental practice ever since. Now I am 28 year of age and I plan to keep on coming along with my growing family. I deeply appreciate every one of the staff here. Excellent work.

I have never been a fan of dentists until I tried this dentist office. The hygienist, the staff, the doctor and even the overall setting is relaxing, professional, and above all one of the most painless experiences you could ever have in a dentist office. Highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive quality dentist in the Lodi/San Joaquin Valley area. I actually live in the state of Nevada and I’m willing to travel all the way over to see the dentist! I would recommend her to anyone!

I had my first appointment at Lodi Dental today for a general cleaning. The staff (front office and hygienist) were exceptional. Karissa of the front office dealt VERY GRACEFULLY with my insurance as she had to go back and forth with them several times. She was very patient through it all and very communicative and kind. I had Nadine as my hygienist and was very impressed by her - I could tell she cares a lot about the people coming through the office. She provided education and advice over and above doing a good cleaning job. I can't believe I can say it, but I'm almost looking forward to coming to the dentist because of this office's exceptional staff!

Everyone here is so friendly, professional and informative! I couldn’t have chosen a better place to get my Invisalign treatment at. They are so accommodating when scheduling my appointments and made my treatment work for me. I have NEVER been to an office before here, to where I felt like the staff truly cared. I recommend to everyone!

Recommend 100%!! All of the staff was great... So great in fact that I recommended them to my girlfriend. We both had exceptional experiences here and would recommend fully. I went in for an infected tooth. Dr. Ung got me in on short notice and spent tons of time answering all of my very detailed questions. They recommended an endodontist to take care of my tooth issue, got me in for a cleaning, and took care of a small cavity that I had. At each visit the staff was very knowledgeable, took time to explain everything, and were very fair and upfront with pricing. I am very horrible at going to the dentist for bi-yearly cleanings, so every time I have gone in for the last three cleanings the dentists I have seen have charged me for "deep" cleanings. Dr. Ung and her hygienist explained that this is a method for offices to charge more money and told me that in my case it was not necessary. Going to the dentist is almost never pleasant, but Dr. Ung and her staff made the experience exceptionally enjoyable.

was so happy to have found Dr. Susana Ung. She is gentle and very professional. I had struggled with anxiety all my life and the fear I had to dentists prevented me from going on a regular base. This 5 star review is only because Dr. Ung is amazing. Carolina and Monse, the assistants who assisted her on my treatments, are amazing. Her Hygienist is a great guy that chats with you and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. As for the front desk crew, my experience was negative and full of lies. For my first visit on May 12th, 2021 Dr. Ung knew my fear and anxiety and prescribed me a medication to help me be calm. Even do her front desk lady, not Jessica but the other one, said she had sent the prescription to Target, it was not available. I got there super anxious and worried but Dr. Ung and Monse were amazing! Of course I was able to get the medication after my appointment when it was finally sent to target pharmacy. De.Ung, Carolina, Monse and the hygienist are super professional and I personally would love to continue my and my family's treatment there. Unfortunately my negative experience with the front office lady is just too much. I never got a response on what my two insurance coverage would be, what my copayment were going to be ahead of time because, she always claims she had not received a response from the insurance. Not even for my youngest son fillings we got the co-pay amount ahead of time.. aren't dentist offices supposed to give you some information or an estimate right there on your first 2 visits? I mean, what if I don't have the $ to pay for a filling.. just because I have signed documents stating I'm responsible for any financial portion my insurance won't cover, it doesn't mean I have to go in blindly without knowing if I will be able to afford the procedure! Same thing happened when one of my sons needed the pre-authorization for his braces..I had to call my insurance and get them the documents they needed because this lady had not submitted things according... it seemed she had no interest in getting a patient the braces he needed! In my case, I'm still waiting for the actual numbers. I only got estimates from her... and that was on my last visit when I couldn't get my tooth prepped for a crown..since I had no idea what the insurance would cover and what my cost would be..she came in with an estimate of cost after having weeks to request and submit what the insurance needed, I still had nothing. After months, she still "couldn't" obtain a response from my insurance. Funny thing is, that while at the office on my last visit, while waiting for my you youngest son, I called the insurance, they told me they were missing several documents, they had pending claims due to lack of documentation and gave me a list of documents needed. I gave the list to this lady and almost two weeks later, I still have no response and no information. They claim they are short staff..but to me and based on my experience, this is just someone who cannot get the job done on a timely manner. Is unfortunate that I had finally found a great dentist with whom I felt comfortable and who I trusted and now my family and I, have to stop being her patients due to the lack of professionalism and dedication of one person. I'll attach pictures of text messages exchanged so that ppl can see, how their response changed and how urgent things seemed once I told them I was going to reach out to Dr. Ung. Sorry. But this is my awful experience with someone at your office. I know this does not reflect in any way your professionalism and amazing skill with your patients. Thank you, Dr. Susana for making me feel at ease every time you were working on my teeth and I'm sorry but you need to know before you loose more patients.

Very professional and friendly staff. When I arrived, it was discovered that my insurance wasn't covered by this office. The Dr. offered me a complimentary x-ray and exam for an infected tooth, and a course of antibiotics. I will return as a private pay as their service and compassion outweighs any costs.
