Lynelle Zabel DDS

If you are considering making an appointment with Dr. Lynelle Zabel, I urge you to reconsider. My experience with her office has been beyond unacceptable and nothing short of outrageous. From the very first appointment, it became clear that patients are given very little access to Dr. Lynelle Zabel herself. My initial visit was a routine check-up and cleaning. This procedure—entirely handled by a dental assistant—dragged on for two hours, after which Dr. Lynelle Zabel appeared for barely five minutes, only to inform me of the work that "needed" to be done. While I understand that a cleaning is not the dentist’s role, I did not anticipate such minimal involvement from the person whose name is on the door and whose rates reflect the care of a specialist. The situation worsened at my next appointment, where I was scheduled for two crowns. Dr. Lynelle Zabel personally worked on my teeth for no more than 15 minutes, while I was left in the hands of not one, not two, but three different assistants for an excruciating five hours. The ordeal included more than 15 X-rays—an absolutely excessive and concerning number—just to prepare two teeth and place temporary crowns. At my third session, when the only task was to replace the temporary crowns with the permanent ones, the incompetence of the staff once again turned what should have been a straightforward procedure into a nightmare. I was subjected to over 20 X-rays, another unnecessarily prolonged visit of more than three hours, and what seemed to be a shocking lack of training or oversight on the part of the assistants. To make matters worse, I had scheduled a whitening treatment to be performed during the same session. However, after three agonizing hours, sore lips, a stiff neck, and a splitting headache from the endless fumbling, I was forced to cancel. To this day—three weeks later—I am still in pain, and one of the so-called "permanent" crowns has a rough, unfinished surface that constantly irritates me. This is absolutely unacceptable. When paying the rates of a highly regarded specialist, one expects the dentist—not a revolving door of poorly prepared assistants—to perform the bulk of the work. Instead, I paid premium prices for what amounted to a prolonged, incompetent, and deeply frustrating experience. In summary: if you value your time, your health, and your money, and if you expect professional care directly from the dentist you are entrusting with your treatment, do not go to Dr. Lynelle Zabel. UPDATE: After my previous experience, Dr. Zabel personally reached out to me and invited me back so she could address the issues herself. She spent a full hour working on my crowns with great attention to detail and made sure the problem was resolved. Furthermore, she waived my outstanding balance, demonstrating exceptional professionalism, generosity, and dedication to patient care.

I have gone to Dr. Zabel for many years. Always a pleasurable experience. This time it got even better! She is always investing in the latest leading edge technology. I hate cleanings where they use the 1940's tarter scaping tools all dentists use. Dr. Zabel now has a Cavetron Ultrasonic Scaling Device. Zero discomfort and cuts the cleaning time in half! I found it on the web, "This technology utilizes high-frequency sound waves to break down stubborn deposits while a gentle water spray flushes away debris." Whoa....this is completely Buck Rogers futuristic tech. No extra cost and don't forget to ask for it. Game changer. Taylor was my new Hygienist and is fantastic. Dr. Zabel is legend, as always. The only team to go to for your dental needs.

Dr. Zabel and her staff have been taking excellent care of my teeth for over 15 years now. Every procedure has been done with great care and with very little discomfort. Dr. Zabel has always taken the time to explain everything going on with my teeth, laid out the treatment options and recommendations and made sure I knew how much they would cost before doing anything. Over the years, she has also kept up with all the latest tools and technologies to make my visits efficient and comfortable. Overall, my teeth have never been in better shape and I would not hesitate to recommend her practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I have been going to Dr. Zabel for about 18yrs and she is the best dentist I have ever gone to. She is respectful, caring, truthful and everything you would want from your dentist. Her staff is awesome too! I love my hygienist too! Annette, you are the best! I would and do recommend new patients whenever I get the chance!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Zabel for more than 10 years. I find the service provided by her and her staff to be first rate. The appointments are always on time, no waiting. The Dental Assistants do a very thorough cleaning, all questions asked. Dr. Zabel is very knowledgeable about all aspects of dental care and I find her recommendations and advice to be spot on.

I have been going to Dr. Zabel for 16 years. I have yet to be disappointed by her or any of her staff. They are always professional but still very friendly and efficient. Dr. Zabel is very thorough and explains things in layman's terms vs "Dr. speak". You can tell that they all like each other and enjoy working there and that creates a nice, positive atmosphere to be in. The offices are very nice, comfortable and professional too. It's nice that if you have an appointment at 2:00, you are seen at 2:00. they respect their patients' time, which is rare these days. I would recommend Dr. Zabel to anyone looking for a great dentist in the Highlands Ranch area.

Great dentist and hygienists. Unfortunately, prices went up and I received a suprise bill. The dentist now charges over the insured covered amounts, leaving you with a bill at the end. I called about this and was told I would get a call back from the Dentist Lynelle Zabel, but never received a call back. I'll pay my family's bill and find another office to treat us.
