Matlock Dental Care

I have referred many people to Dr. Matkock. To my surprise when I showed up to my last appointment, I was now "out of network". No call or notice from the office manager Jennifer. Due to "principle", I left the scheduled appointment. My out of pocket would’ve been somewhere around $56. They are now contacting my wife stating that we owe $75 for the "no show". Well that’s a lie… because I DID SHOW UP! A routine appointment that never cost me anything, all of a sudden cost me $56? Now $75? I think Dr. Matlock is great as well as his hygienist…this Jennifer though who said "you’ve been out of network for over a year"… how is that so when I was just there 6 months ago and didn’t pay for my routine visit???? I pray Dr. Matlock gets some control over his office and put the patients first. You call and text to confirm appointments… you could’ve easily mentioned that my September appointment was going to be an "out of network" appointment and to be prepared to pay $56.

I was new to the area three years ago, and was looking for a new dentist. I was recommended to come to Matlock Dental Care and I have been very happy here for the past three years. They are so kind and thorough and I have never once felt like they were pushing any procedures or extra costs on me. I have had this experience before at other dentists. I always see Virginia as my hygienist and she is amazing. They are very time efficient and I never have to wait for an appointment, which is important to me when I have child care lined up during my appointment. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Me and my kids have seen Dr Matlock for years and we think he is the BEST. He is very personable and professional. He explains everything clearly, gives options, and educated exclamations of each. The staff and dental hygienist are also very nice and pleasant. You can tell they all care for their patients.

Dr. Matlock has been my dentist since 2017 and I am so glad I switched over back then! He’s great with patients! I never have any anxiety/worry when I come in for my twice a year cleanings - and that’s saying a lot! The staff and hygienists are always very welcoming and professional. I am always grateful for my visits being fairly quick, that part alone is impressive!! Thank you Matlock Dental care team for being awesome 😊

Just saw this fabulous dentist! Cannot recommend highly enough! I had been searching - AND he actually listens - a rare find in doctors these days! Dr. Matlock looks at you as a person and takes into account the entire body. He is compassionate, knowledgable, and offered great advice and suggestions to me. He was honest and forthcoming about what I may need and what would work best for me at this time. If you need a dentist - go see him! (I'm sure his new dentist in the office is great too!) PLUS, they have plans which are great for those who do not have dental insurance!

I visited Dr. Matlock Dental care today and I felt welcomed when I walked in!! Everyone at the office was extremely nice and went over and above my expectations Dr. Matlock was so kind and earnest. I appreciated his being real. His assistant was so professional and gave me such special care. I give the office and staff a number 10. The best care!!

This morning was only my second visit to Matlock Dental Care...an absolute pleasure. Never thought I would say that about a dentist visit. The environment is that of comfort, competence and professionalism...with lots of smiles and expressions of genuine caring about the patient. So pleased to have been referred to Matlock. We live in Branson...but my wife and I will continue to schedule appointments in KC with Matlock, coupled with visiting grandkids.
