Ben Archer Health Center is a good place for your dental and medical care. The doctors and nurses are really friendly. There is a big parking lot here. I am pretty sure that you will be satisfied with their services as me. Overall the place is really nice.
I chipped my tooth. That same day I called and they worked me in the next morning. Their staff were awesome from the person who checked me in, the dental assistant and the Dentist. All were kind and professional. Not once did I feel frustrated or stressed. Their equipment was state of the art. Amazing experience. Thanks to all the Ben Archer staff.
Do not see Gloria Garcia. She wants to see you even when you’re not sick and not needed to be seen. I supposed she needs to make more money.
It is important to understand that there are times when a company may be experiencing challenges or a hostile atmosphere. However, in most situations, it is possible to maintain professionalism and walk away from rudeness. Doing so creates an opportunity for others to communicate more directly and effectively and empowers us to take responsibility for fostering a better environment. This approach upholds basic human decency and would benefit companies by prioritizing respectful interactions, even when times are tough. I understand that when a company has to move around or at least be in a bad mood, most of the time, one can walk away regardless of being rude, and that way, someone else can hopefully be direct as well. That way, it could be better or at least better in a "decent human" way.
This place is pretty bad. There was only one dentist assitant thsy was ok. Even when there is something that needs to get done right away they will still make a appointment in 5 months when it needs to get done in the next month. The dentist that does fillings does the worst job. The counter workers are really really rude. One time I waited for a appointment for about 40 mins and it was just a cleaning.
I have to say that i am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism that is presented at this office . As a dental office administrator myself for the last 20 years , I have always treated patients as if they were family . Every question , concern or doubt has always been answered prior to any treatment or after .My mother unfortunately is a patient there and had treatment done without knowing if there was a patient portion due or if the procedure was even covered .She later received a bill , no explanation given or reason for denial provided . I feel that the patient has every right to make their decision to proceed with treatment based on the insurance estimate and information given prior to the procedure .According to this facility patients are not given any treatment plans or estimates or out of pocket costs prior to dental treatment and it is ENTIRELY their responsibility to know cost, coverage ,etc. I disagree completely! It is our job to provide the highest quality of care to our patients from the time they walk in , to the time they leave . The response that I was given when I called to discuss the matter was " Dental assistants don’t have time to call everybody’s insurances and that’s NOT our job(front office ) , it’s the patients job to know their insurance " I had no words …. The lack of information and disregard for your patients is unacceptable.
The PA, Casey Sampson is amazing! She will take the time to talk to you and explain things. UPDATED! She left and now I see Felicia Shipp who is just as amazing! Dr. Mendez on the other hand, is the worst! He does not talk to patients or explain anything at all. I have to go back again because he is horrible. He just tried to run out of the room, he didn’t even assess me. Apparently he does this with all of his patients. Any health care provider should explain what they are going to do, but he basically ran out of the room & didn’t even touch my foot. If you ever come here, ask for Felicia Shipp only! Felicia Shipp will take the time with you. I honestly see her more than any of my specialists. She will take the time and you can ask questions and she will work with you. She is very nice and listens to her patients. She is one of the best Nurse Practicioners I've ever worked with. I will continue going here, although sometimes I fear she might move like my first provider there, then I wouldn't know what to do.
