He is very well mannered and takes very good of his patients. I've had a few extractions done here including wisdow teeth and they always make sure I am comfortable and relaxed before they begin. No pain felt while extracting and quick recovery time makes for a good experience at the dentist.

I'm 40yrs old and haven't been to a dentist in about 15yrs due to some traumatizing experience as a kid. I have a molar that needed a root canal done 15yrs ago but couldn't afford it and was too scared to get it done. Dr. Nguyen and his staff listened and made this process painless and comfortable. And it was done at an affordable price!

I'm not a very good patient when it comes to dealing with a dentist. But the crew here is amazing. They're like family to me. I always have a baby with me, so they make sure to take care of him while I'm being seen about & the DA and dentist know just how to handle me not to freak me out. They're wonderful!

I would give zero stars if possible. I was looking for a dentist in the Lafayette area because I had a major cavity. First red flag was that my first appointment, he said I needed a root canal and he immediately started on the cavity with no prior consultation. Basically, he didn't know what he was getting himself into. Also, I have never heard of a regular dentist doing major root canals, they usually refer to an endodontist. The procedure was very painful. I had to go back three different times and paid a lot of money for my tooth to still be in bad shape. When I went back in for my crown to be put on, the second red flag. They had so much trouble trying to get the crown fitted and it still doesn't fit properly. They also told me to not chew on that side of my mouth...the point of getting it down was so I could chew on this side. I was still in pain. Months later, I'm starting to have a lot of trouble with the tooth. It hurts a lot and my gums start to swell and bleed. I couldn't do anything about it because I used up my insurance for that period on this root canal! A couple more months down the line, the tooth gets an abscess on it and I start feeling tremendous pain. Now, I am currently getting everything fixed that was messed up. I have an infection in the tooth and have to get the root canal completely redone! Beware of this fraud performing procedures that he is not properly trained for. If your dentist tells you that you need a root canal, ask to be referred to an endodonist ASAP!!

Love love love them! The whole staff is super genuine, kind, and compassionate. They provide the best care everytime I see them! I love that they explain everything and always make sure to ask if you are okay and comfortable during procedures.

I have 2 stars because I've had pleasurable experiences from the dental hygienist, But my last two experiences are what I will take with me while I look for another dentist. During the heart of the pandemic, being very cautious and trusting I decided to keep my appointment for a regular cleaning that I scheduled. Surprisingly I'd walk in having to pay $15 for PPE equipment that you should already be equipped with. The last straw getting a bill for $50 in the mail for a rescheduled appointment I didn't approve nor confirm. I'm a pretty chill person, but I do not tolerate unprofessionalism from anyone I patronize. The receptionist is rude and unprofessional in my opinion, so because of it they'll lose my business and three stars .

Love Dr Heip and his staff. Had root canals, crowns, and fillings done by Dr Heip and have Never had any pain. He is the best and the most gentle dentist I have ever been to.
