Every single team member, from the front desk to the dental assistants to Dr. Shawn Keller himself, is not only incredibly professional but also warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in patient care. You’re never treated like just another appointment here. The staff takes the time to get to know you, remember your preferences, and make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. Dr. Keller is both highly skilled and incredibly down-to-earth — he explains things clearly and treats you like a partner in your own care. The energy in the office is upbeat and calming at the same time, and the attention to detail (even outside the dental chair) is exceptional. You can tell this team works well together and really enjoys what they do. The psychological metamorphosis that takes place as a result of one’s initial contact with people is as fascinating as it is amazing. I am less than seven days into the process of getting implants from Smiles by Design and it’s a surreal experience. Real time examination is stifled your by your actual current living experience. The pain of the surgery is easily and expertly managed by the staff at Smiles by Design, their presentation before, during, and after the initial surgery is incredibly accurate, and quells your anxiety and questions regarding what’s happening now and what’s next. They are wonderfully sensitive to your emotions and have been awesome with the post surgical care. We’re just getting started and if this is any indication of how Smiles by Design will function then I’m in for a terrific ride. Being able to enunciate words without hesitation is fantastic. The ability to take pictures with family and loved ones is heartwarming. The cost becomes irrelevant as you ponder how much time, money, and pain you’ve already gone through. Years of dental work, getting crowns, root canal’s, and bridges start to add up. Anyone doing even the most basic pragmatic analysis of the cost of their own dental work can only come to the conclusion that (IMHO) that they have thrown away too time money and energy already. Bad looking teeth are not a lost cause. The next few weeks are going to be interesting to say the least.

If you are looking/contemplating a new smile, read this! Anyone that is afraid/anxious as I was, looking for implants, needs to hear this! I am absolutely terrified of the dentist, cleanings, exams, fillings all of it, even the sign on the door! So much, to the extreme that I had to be sedated to even go to the dentist or enter the office. The anxiety is no joke! At Dr. Keller's office the staff is excellent, responsive and there to help. They understand and do not judge your anxiety. In fact, they make sure each visit is comfortable, from meds, blankets and even your favorite music. I searched all avenues for implants, from small dental offices to the giants advertised on television and everywhere else. My search went on for 2+ years. Even after I went to Smiles by Design, I still went on continuing my search. All due to the fear of actually committing to the procedure, until I just had to do something, or stop eating. Always worrying if another tooth was loose or ready to break. I finally decided that I absolutely had to do something. So, I contacted one of the first places I went, Smiles by Design. I was embarrassed to show up again after a couple of years, but they made me feel no shame and welcomed me back! It was the best decision I could have made! The procedure was PAINLESS. Woke up with a set of great teeth in place, looking very natural, not like you would expect traditional fake teeth to look. They really listen to what you want your teeth to look like and create what you want, very natural looking teeth. I left that day with teeth and after about a week, was able to work, go on without anyone knowing, except showing a more confident smile and of course no more anxiety or worrying about my teeth! I needed no narcotic pain meds afterwards, not even during the healing process, just Tylenol and ibuprofen. Followed the diet that recommended and it's all done! There are not words to express how thankful I am to have gone to Dr. Keller. So, needless to say, if you are contemplating full sets of implants, look no further than Smiles by Design, you will be so glad. You will have the first visit meeting Dr. Keller and his great team, make the arrangements and then and after your surgery day, (and it's only a partial day that you will not really even remember), your worries will be over! So, don't delay, make an appointment with Smiles by Design you will be so very pleased with the results and wonder why in the world you were worried in the first place!!

From the moment you walk in, the entire team, from the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. Keller, makes you feel genuinely cared for, listened to, and never rushed. They’re warm, fun, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. You never feel like you’re just another time slot; they take their time, explain everything clearly, and make you feel like your health truly matters. I came in for a second opinion on an implant done elsewhere and to understand some health issues that had worsened since. Not only did they identify TMJ and bite issues I didn’t know I had, but they walked me through the X-rays and the "why" behind every symptom. Their clarity, patience, and thoroughness were such a relief. What impresses me even more is that after just the first phase of my treatment plan, my symptoms have improved by at least 80%. My confidence in this team has been validated. Yes, their treatment plans are an investment, but they are very intentional about it. They start with smaller, conservative steps to make sure the approach is truly going to work before recommending anything more permanent. I deeply appreciate that level of integrity and thoughtfulness. It’s rare to find a dental office where you feel this seen, heard, and supported. As I was getting older, my confidence started fading right along with my teeth.
