⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I came to Lake Houston Smiles Dentistry as a new patient for a routine cleaning and to be fitted for an extra night guard, and I genuinely couldn’t have had a better experience. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and informative. During my visit, I found out I have gingivitis / early periodontitis, and Jasmin was absolutely amazing. She was extremely thorough in walking me through the treatment plan and took the time to explain everything in a way that actually made sense and didn’t feel overwhelming. She also gave me really helpful, practical tips for prevention and improving things moving forward, which I really appreciated. Overall, the office feels warm, professional, and truly patient-focused. I left feeling way more informed and taken care of than I ever have at a dentist. Highly recommend! 🦷✨

I highly recommend Lake Houston Smiles! I needed an emergency visit and my own dentist wanted me to wait until the second week of January! No appointment slots for urgent care so I googled emergency dentistry. The staff member I spoke with was so nice and understood my need to be seen right away so I got an appointment for the next day. I wasn’t sure what I was walking in to, but from the moment I entered I felt that I was in the right place. Everyone was friendly and professional. I had to have an involved procedure and the Dr Hasan was really great about explaining what I needed to have done and why. The staff made sure that I was comfortable at all times, which included offering me a blanket, and a snack while I waited for the procedure to begin. I absolutely hate feeling any pain while somebody’s working in my mouth, so I was really grateful that Dr. Hassan make sure I was fully anesthetized before she began. Every time she had to introduce the needle for the anesthetic, she said "I’m so sorry you’re going to feel a bit of a pinch." I spent a fair amount of time in the chair and left feeling like I had been really well cared for. So much so that I’m going to look and see if my insurance covers this practice so that I can switch to Lake Houston Smiles.

The kindest staff and the dentist Dr. Perkins is the most knowledgeable dentist I’ve come across. She’s very descriptive, doesn’t do unnecessary work and really practices honest patient focused dentistry. The hygienist, Jasmine, has been wonderful as well and very diligent in her work. Highly recommend to anyone!

Comeing back because I got sent a Thank You email for supporting them... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND THEY KNOW THIS And Because they seemed to delete my negative review along with many others to push positive and most likely fake reviews to the top I felt it'd be an injustice not to reshare my experience here as a warning. Im going to preface this with the fact I am well versed in dentistry knowledge, procedures and when they are needed, and dental hygiene. I worked in the field for over 6 years. I know what dentistry terms are and Im far from an idiot when it comes to this profession. The dentist is a money hungry liar. She tried to push a deep cleaning on me, a non-smoker, with no periodontal issues, no gum issues, no decay, and no predisposed genetic history of periodontal issues in my family. This seems to be something she pushes a lot on individuals who DONT NEED THIS PROCEDURE as there use to be sooooo many one star reviews expressing the exact same issues. When I told her I was not going to do that she got super rude and began asking about my financial status, THATS NOT HER BUSINESS, and why couldn't I put down at least 50$ to start the cleaning. She got an attitude and stormed off when I told her I am not paying for it nor doing the procedure because I know I am a patient who doesn't need it. Again I know the type of people who get deep cleanings, I've charted and assisted in hundreds of these procedures over multiple offices, I know for a fact that I do not need it. Her excuse was "You have a couple number 4 pockets" a few 4 pockets, which is relatively acceptable and can be treated with proper flossing and at home hygiene procedures does not require a deep cleaning. I told the hygienist I wanted to do the polishing and regular cleaning that my insurance covers because thats what I came in for. The hygienist had to verify this with the Dentist, and the only one who seemed to understand that this situation was out of control but I dont fault her for following orders. The dentist storms back in and Im not exaggerating when I say this, she literally was stomping in and out of this room irritated with me because I wouldn't cough up money. The dentist tells me "Polishing your teeth will damage your gums. You must do a deep cleaning." This is absolutely a lie and not even a logical or good one. Dont come here and dont subject yourself to the Toddler they hired as a dentist here. To this day I am still mad about this entire experience and being treated like an idiot by this woman. Dont fall victim to her scam. Get a second opinion if she says you need a deep cleaning because odds are she is trying to upsell you on this procedure like she did to dozens of people, whose reviews have been taken down. Look at the yelp score as they dont have control on taking those reviews down.

I was told by this dental office that I needed a deep cleaning and was quoted an additional $1,000 for the service. While traveling in Korea, I visited a dentist there, who told me that I did not need a deep cleaning. However, because Lake Houston Dental had insisted it was necessary, I chose to proceed with the deep cleaning anyway. Without insurance, I paid $100 for the procedure in Korea. When I returned to Lake Houston Dental for my six-month routine cleaning, I was told that because the deep cleaning was not done in the United States, it "did not count." They refused to perform a routine cleaning unless I paid again for a deep cleaning. I declined and sought a second opinion from another dentist in Humble who also confirmed that I do not need a deep cleaning. Based on this experience, I believe this office misrepresents dental needs and pressures patients into unnecessary and expensive procedures. Additionally, my son also received a deep cleaning at this practice, which I am now questioning given these circumstances. I would not recommend this office.

I came in with a broken tooth and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The front desk staff was kind and quick to get me scheduled, and the team made sure I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in. The dentist explained everything clearly, gave me options, and handled the repair with such care that what started as a stressful situation turned into an easy one. It’s never fun to deal with a broken tooth, but this office made it as smooth and painless as possible. I’m grateful for their professionalism and compassion and would highly recommend them to anyone needing dental care.

I really don’t want to run down a business. I will just say that I will not be returning and am very disappointed in the way this office conducts business. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Initially, I booked an appointment for an exam and cleaning. They wanted to do a cleaning that’s $800. When I requested a basic cleaning, they said the hygienist wasn’t even available for the day they’d scheduled me. I’d been in the office for an hour at that point. They had to reschedule me for an appointment to get my teeth cleaned. Fast forward to two weeks later….I arrive for my cleaning and wait 40 minutes before the cleaning begins. The things the office said were "issues" were things my last dentist told me to be wary of when I had to switch to an HMO plan. Always get a second opinion. Advocate for your health. Be sure to book a sitter for 2-3 hours of your time if you visit…. Also, it really hurt my feelings to hear the doctor discuss my dental bridge. She talked about it like it was the ugliest thing she’d ever seen and could make a "much better one" for ~$5,000. It’s like they took something I’m self conscious about and tried to make $.
