Dr John Kong & his entire staff are outstanding. He explains every step of the procedure before the dental surgery & sits down with you afterwards to explain your recovery process & what happens next. He is an excellent dental surgeon & also very personable in his interactions with you. He was recommended very highly by my longtime regular dentist who recently retired & my current dentist. I can definitely see why. He is honest & very trustworthy. I highly recommend him.

Dr John Kong is very nice and patience person. He checked me very well and explained me about my dental issues very nicely. I made further appointment with him. I also will bring my other family to see him.

Dr. Kong is truly amazing! I had a really bad tooth infection on a root canal that already had a history of a fractured tooth. I was in one of the WORST pain of my life and I decided I’d rather just get a dental implant instead of try to save a root canal that didn’t seem worth saving. Instead, Dr. Kong who specializes in dental implants suggested I go to a root canal specialist and had the perfect referral. Come to find out, I was acting way too hasty and was able to get my root canal retreated and got the proper care thanks to Dr. Kong! He essentially saved my tooth through his redirection. I’m so glad Dr. Kong gave me well informed medical advice showing his knowledge in the field, his careful approach to do what is best for me as the patient, and his dignity as an entrusted periodontist who would rather redirect me elsewhere instead of try to make a quick buck and perform a dental implant so he could pocket money for himself. I highly respect him and his friendly team! Although my service there was short and sweet, I fully recommend him with any of your dental needs!

Just had the most thorough teeth cleaning at my first visit to Better Living. Dr. Kong and his team are as good as others have reported. Was slightly disappointed in that follow-up care for filling in cavity and replacing a broken cap will be done by a different dentist as Dr. Kong focuses on dental implants and gums.

Dr Kong provides excellent care. He is thorough, informative, and provides clear explanations with a plan of action for the condition presented. I have been treated successfully by Dr Kong for various periodontal conditions and successfully received dental implants that are standing the test of time. I have always been squeamish in the dental chair and have learned to relax as he executes his surgery in a pain free manner, which under his guidance have afforded a speedy recovery without any negative side effects. His friendly office displays competence and respect for his patients, and his care, literally, keeps the smile on my face! Highly recommend this office.

I had a massive oral inflammation emergency post-COVID and needed help urgently. Knowing that the office wasn’t open on Friday evening and throughout the weekend I still left a message and hoped that someone could reach out. Dr. Kong soon called (I missed him twice!) and texted and was able to prescribe me antibiotics till I saw him on Monday. He was on the subway when he called and I could hear the noise in the background but he was calm and kind and tried to listen to my concerns. He texted me back after he was able to access his schedule and offered to see me at 8:30AM on Monday, before his first appointment. I went to a 24/7 pharmacy and started the meds right away. My condition improved significantly over the weekend and was really grateful that Dr. Kong reached out to help his patient so promptly. Really appreciate his professionalism, compassion and commitment to patient care.

Dr. John Kong is amazing. Not only he’s top notch knowledgeable, he’s incredible patient and detail in explaining my condition and follow up the next day is everything I am hoping for. Absolutely earn my trust! I am in a bad condition before I go to him, but feel relieved I met him and want to entrust my future treatments with him for the years to come. Thank you.
