Nothing but disappointment here. Countless of times. This one last experience was really upsetting though because it is my front teeth and affects my smile and confidence. Went to get a front tooth filling fixed and Dr. Kim zipped through the filling, shaved off my real tooth too much (even though he stated he didn’t touch my real tooth) and then tried to shooed me away after I voiced my disapproval of his work. I told him to at least shave down the rough patches and make them even because this was my front tooth and he tried to tell me to go home, stop staring at my teeth, and give it a couple of weeks and if I still didn’t like it to come back. Sorry but no, I told him he can try to fix it and now and if I didn’t like it, I’d go elsewhere. The photos speak for themselves. The first one was how my teeth looked with a filling done by a professional who cared and the second is by Dr. Kim who didn’t care and tried to make me feel like me and my teeth were the problem. His response when he was done smoothing out the tooth, "sorry I didn’t make you happy today." Let me ask you all this? Who would be happy with this work and lack of empathy!?! Bet you can tell which front tooth was worked on and destroyed!
I started having an issue with my wisdom teeth a few days ago so I decided to give this place a shot after hearing nothing but good things. Today was the day, check-in was quick and easy, they give you a tablet to answer all of the regular health related questions. I guess the clipboard with paper is a thing of the past. My consultation was thorough and painless. The dentist explained everything in good detail. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family. Stay tuned for part 2. "The extraction" 😬
This place is a rip-off don't pay in advance. They will take your money and mess up your jaw and teeth. I end up with the worst pain in my life. They recommended me to get BOTOX instead of trying to help. They are under staffed and treat you as a number after they get the money. They'll act very nice and interested at first. Manager (Brandy) doesn't know how to return phone calls. I spent over $4000 for nothing. I ended up with a crooked face and TMJ. Had to go to another orthodontist for better service. I had better service and attention in one appointment at the new place then I had in 2 years here. STAY AWAY.
Firstly, I want to shout out an amazing front desk woman that was working today (9/16/25 at around 3PM). She was at the corner desk, the first one when you walk into the clinic. When I walked in, there was a woman who was being downright rude towards the employee and speaking to her in the most condescending and disrespectful tone of voice. Not once this the employee show signs of irritation as this woman kept talking down to her and being a bit unreasonable. She was still kind and thorough and treated the woman with respect, which I applaud because I probably would have walked away. I wanted to compliment the employee on my way out of my appointment today, but she was quite busy and there was a line, so I didn’t want to hold her up. I really hope she sees this, YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR! And if her supervisor sees this, please pass this onto her. I don’t know her name but I hope the message gets passed along! Now onto my full review… I have been a patient of Dental Associates for years and I will always be. Every single person I’ve worked with here has been kind, informative, and thorough. Many people (including myself) are avoidant of dentists due to shame and embarrassment around oral hygiene. When I finally decided to see a dentist after years of avoidance (and no insurance), they were so kind and understanding of my embarrassment, and came up with a plan with me to get my oral health back on track. When I needed multiple fillings, the team helped problem solve ways I can make it as affordable as possible. I have nothing negative to say about Dental Associates. The hygienists, the dentists, the oral surgeons, and the individuals at the front desk - all of you are amazing.
They always do a great job cleaning my teeth both people I saw today Sabrina and Dr Kim were very nice and did a great job!
Absolutely disappointed with their billing department. Despite providing all of my insurance information, I was still sent a bill and repeatedly received notices until I had to call and get the issue resolved. Even after making payment, I received another bill in the mail for the same charges. This feels highly unprofessional and frustrating, almost like a scam.
Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. The staff are incompetent and lie. Lorena, a "supervisor" will reschedule your appointment after you cancel to try and charge you a fee. Jennifer, the "office manger" can only be told about issues through the "supervisor.
