Aspen Dental - Joliet, IL

Aspen dental should be called Aspen dentures. I called to see if I can get a tooth pulled Immediately. They said, sure.Come on in no problem. mind you, I have one tooth on the bottom of my jaw, what need to be pulled.So of course , they had to take X rays for that one solo tooth, after dentist walked in and talked about how I had other loose teeth needed to be pulled immediately, I told them they're not to bad weight, Just pull the bad tooth, which he proceeded to say We need to makeup a plan for dentures, I told him that's down the road , just pull the tooth, but he directed me to a lady who wanted to discuss a plan about dentures, i told her I wasn't interested in this at this time.Just pull this one bad tooth.That is when the dentist said we do not extract one tooth so after wasting an hour in the office.And somebody out lying to me about getting my tooth pulled. i'm glad to have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to have it pulled by a professional dentist. All there interested in is pushing dentures if you're ready or not

I do not like dentists. Fiercely do not like them. I had one bad experience with a lasting impression. With thst being said, I have nothing but nice things to say about my experience with Aspen Dental Joliet. Everyone was so nice, so calming and talked their every step they were taking with me. Today my teeth were deep cleaned and Carrie steamed cleared of the teeth that were bothering me. I am impressed but have to go back for extractions and 2 partials ... eek. So maybe an additional review in the future.

I was very displeased and very disappointed with my emergency trip to this Aspen dental. The only positive part about this horrible pain and situation was the front reception office assistant named Stephanie. She was beyond sweet and patient with me even though I was in excruciating pain. Dr. Kabeel was far from caring and very rude. She ask how I felt about pulling my teeth out and really wasn’t attempting to give any other options other than extraction, I stood firm on another option and then she mentioned root canals and a specialist. She then let me know that pain medication was not something she offered for new patients, even though you could clearly see the right side of my face was very swollen from my mouth all the way up to my right eye! She doesn’t let me know that she could prescribe penicillin and that I could get the rest of my initial exam done once I finish the antibiotics. To be fair on my part, I did ask if a different doctor would be available for me to possibly see and she let me know that that was not an option. We then concluded the visit with confirming my pharmacy for the antibiotics to be sent to, I read the pharmacy address off to dr.label twice and she confirmed it back to me. but upon checking with Stephanie at the front desk come to find out dr.kabeel sent it to the wrong pharmacy anyways that pharmacy was an hour away from me. Stephanie then let me know that dr. Kabeel was with a patient and would send it to the right pharmacy in 10 mins. It might be the pain or me overthinking it, but to me it seems as if she sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy on purpose due to personality conflict. If you are in severe tooth pain don’t see dr.kabeel she will not help you !

I chipped my tooth and all I wanted was it to be filled. That’s it. This place was an utter mess. The X-Ray lady was a disaster. She had no idea how to place anything in my mouth, she gagged me like 10 Times, she admitted she had no idea what she was doing- waiting for others to do it. They said I needed a teeth cleaning and wouldn’t fill my chipped tooth unless it was part of the package AT $2,600!!!! I ended up going down the street and got my tooth filled for $47 and my teeth cleaning for $125. $2,600 for a filling and a teeth cleaning is just robbery. Pure trash if you ask me. Never go here unless you want to be scammed.

I am not happy with Aspen Dental. This is my mom’s second denture with this office because the first plate cracked so many times they had to replace it after about 10 months. She has had this one about 2 years and this is the 4th, maybe 5th, time that a tooth fell out of the denture - and never the same tooth. The "money back guarantee" is only good for 60 days, so I she has to deal with them since insurance will not cover a new one. They need to find a new dental lab that makes appliances that are worth the money we pay for them.

The staff was very professional and informative, the equipment they use was state at the art. The 3-D scanning was a dealbreaker very good technology five stars all the way.

Excellent people work here! My first time here was above and beyond. I need a lot of work done and they’ve mapped out the details. I only wish my insurance was better.
