I've been going to Dent1st Dental Care for over 25 years. And I would NEVER let another dentistry work on my mouth. For me.. this location is out of my way, but it's MORE than worth the 25 minute drive out of the way. If you're looking for a GOOD dentist, Dr. Henry Masek has a gentle touch. I've also seen Dr. Woojae Chong as well. And my Dental Hygienists name is Julie Gray and she is the BEST. And watch out for these ladies... Tiffany, Candice and Jessica. These ladies are a hand full (in a GOOD WAY), but they know their business and they work with you. Now I will say... I did have one bad experience with this office. They moved my appointment to an hour early without notifying me. But they fit me in once I got there are my normal time.

I don't usually post reviews but making a switch from my previous dentist, was not an easy decision. I only had couple of visits and I would like to express that it has been a pleasant experience so far. Dr Jewett and his wonderful assistant, Elsie, has been just awesome. They have been very professional and I am very satisfied with my dental work. 😀

This dental office is the definition of dysfunction and complete disregard for patients’ time and health. Appointments that are scheduled weeks or months in advance are repeatedly canceled with little to no notice. When you do show up, dentists are suddenly "not available" during your scheduled appointment—again, without warning. What makes this even worse is their absurd, circular policy: they refuse to schedule future cleanings unless you’ve been evaluated by a dentist, yet it has been over a year without a dentist being available through no fault of the patient. They then insist you book a next-day "follow-up" appointment just to satisfy their internal protocol, even though their own failures caused the issue in the first place. This office clearly prioritizes checking boxes over patient care. There is no accountability, no follow-through, and absolutely no concern for continuity of care or patient health. If you value reliability, professionalism, or basic respect for your time, look elsewhere. This place should not be trusted with something as important as your dental health.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this office. The service is terrible. They give you an appointment and don't see you on time, but if you're late, they charge you a fee. I went with a horrible toothache, and that day they didn't do anything except take my insurance co-pay because supposedly there wasn't time to do anything else and my appointment was an hour away. I said I should go another day and pay another co-pay for the repair. I wasted my time and money; they're only interested in getting money from you. The same thing happened to my husband at this office and switched to the Norcross office, and they're completely different and excellent.

I regret going to Dr. Triggs back in March for a tooth filling. He was very quick and not careful in my opinion. He skipped an important step in treating the tooth but I won’t get into details. I know this from my previous dentist who unfortunately passed away. As soon as I left the dental office I knew something was wrong and sure enough after a few weeks my tooth got infected. I ended up having a root canal treatment, not to mention the expense that came with that. What I regret most is loosing a tooth that was not in bad shape and could have been saved with knowledge and care.

I have a CREDIT balance of $91.50 and I have asked for my refund several times and they always say different things. (that they will send it to me, that they will return it to my credit card, that the money is from my insurance etc etc.) I overpaid and they must return my money, it is the way this company steals from people, by overcharging and keeping the money. They have not returned that money since 2023. I need my money back!!!

I did not have a good experience at this dental office. Prior to my visit we had already put together what they could start on in my mouth and I went in under the impression that they would begin the treatment plan we had previously discussed, which included work on a bridge or some type of tooth repair / replacement. I had just enough funds on my flexible spending account card to begin the process. Instead, I was told they needed to extract one of my teeth and preserve the bone, which ended up costing me over $1,000. That procedure used up most of my funds, leaving me with nothing left to begin the actual treatment I came in for. The staff seemed more focused on how much things cost rather than providing care. They kept discussing prices and asking if I wanted to start that day, knowing I didn’t have enough left on my card. There was no effort made to offer a payment plan or provide support. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and felt very judgmental. The main dentist was cold and unwelcoming, which added to the overall disappointing experience. When I receive my next FSA deposit, I will not be returning to this location. It’s clear to me that compassion and patient care are not priorities here.
