The front desk staff stood out immediately – they were so helpful and easy to work with. They took care of everything efficiently, from paperwork to setting up my next appointments. This smooth process, plus their genuinely warm and friendly attitude, made the whole visit surprisingly pleasant and really calmed any nerves I had. You could tell they cared about making patients comfortable in every interaction, which set a great tone for my visit and truly made this practice special.

I had an issue with crowding in my teeth, specifically my canine. I had gone to several dentist to see what could be done to fix them. Each time, different doctors recommended taking out 4 teeth and getting braces. From x-rays, they found I had very small roots and advised me to not proceed with any procedure because pressure (from braces) could potentially cause my teeth to fall out. Not to mention, if I had gotten the 4 teeth removed, I would have gaps in my teeth from stopping the treatment. I had gotten several consultations like this throughout the years and was about to give up. When I was around 28 years old, I decided to try out OC Dental Specialist and thought this would be my last try for another opinion. From very first appointment, all their staff have been so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Nina Sharma was extremely helpful and understanding of my unique situation. She recommended Invisalign to slowly move my teeth, paying special attention to my small roots. She worked out the best solution for me WITHOUT removing any teeth. After about 1.5 -2 years, my teeth look amazing and the crowding was fixed. This was the best decision now in my 30's and I am beyond thankful to all their team for helping me feel way more confident about my smile. I would 100% recommend this dentist to anyone.

DO NOT TRUST THEM. Here is my experience. Last December, I went in because I have a loose/mobile tooth. They took an X-ray. The dentist told me that she saw a shadow in the root of that tooth. She said it was a cavity. She claimed that the only solution was to extract the tooth and do an implant. They just conveniently have an implant specialist in the same office that sees patients once a month. I said sure, I can talk to the specialist and see if it's even necessary to do implant at all. As I was trying to make an appointment with the specialist, I was told that I had to have an MRI for my teeth before I could even see the specialist. And they were really trying to sell the implant to me. At that point, I grew suspicious so I just left. Fast forward, I went to a different dentist with the X-ray that was taken previously. This new dentist said there's nothing wrong with my teeth in the X-ray. Out of precaution, he took a new X-ray for the mobile tooth. Again, nothing wrong. Yep, I was being defrauded. So, do not come here if you don't want to lose a completely perfect tooth and replace it with an implant that you never needed. Also, check Yelp. OC Dental Specialist is hands down the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. After a really bad experience with a previous dentist, I was nervous about starting over. From the very first visit, Dr. Nina Sharma, Laxmi, and Heidi completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. They’re not only incredibly skilled, but they also make every appointment comfortable and stress-free. I actually drive from San Diego just to see them, that’s how much I trust this team. If you’ve ever had a negative dental experience in the past, this is the office that will restore your confidence. Highly recommend!

The Doctors, the Hygienists, the front staff, they’re all so caring and wonderful. I have been coming here for my primary care for almost two years and have had only incredible experiences. Take it from someone who has been terrified of going to the dentist; they were able to make me feel comfortable and helped me get through my dentist anxiety. As far as payments/insurance goes, they’ve always been open and honest about what I’m paying for, what my insurance will cover, and have made plans for my care around my financial and health care needs. I totally trust them. And it's beautiful, easy to get to, and comfortable, and with a stellar staff. And doctor Sharma was a complete professional and her chair side manner was top shelf.
