Trader Joe's

Today I went to Trader Joe’s. I wanted to buy reusable shopping bags. The kind young man A.Thom at the register told me there was a limit of three, and if you bought three, you would get one free — so you were allowed to take a fourth bag. When I got home, I saw that I only had three. My daughter had asked me to buy them so she could take them to her cousins in another country, and since she has four cousins, I needed to buy four bags. So I had to drive back. I thought maybe I had forgotten one at the register. When I returned, the cashier had changed. They took me to the manager. The manager Shawn said there was no such promotion, that he would not give me one I forgot at the register, and that I could either buy another one or return the three I had purchased. I said, "But that’s what I was told." Maybe the cashier was mistaken, but at that moment I believed I was entitled to take four. Also, this Trader Joe’s is 25 minutes from my home. If I was just going to buy that one bag, I could have gone somewhere only 5 minutes away. I said, "Did I really come all this way for nothing?" The manager’s attitude embarrassed me. He acted as if I was lying. If I were going to lie, I would have said I bought three and only went home with two. Besides, I am Muslim. It is Ramadan, and I am fasting. Why would I lie for $3.99? I was truly very hurt. In the end, I paid and bought one more. But I found his behavior very rude. He said he would ask the cashier the next day. I don’t want to put the cashier in a difficult position. Maybe he was mistaken. But I found the manager’s behavior very unpleasant. I won’t be shopping at Trader Joe’s for a while. It will take me time to get over this

Great specialty grocery store with all the usual staples plus some unique finds. The layout is easy to navigate and never feels too crowded. Parking is generally convenient, and the staff is friendly, personable, and happy to answer questions while keeping shelves well-stocked. Overall, a pleasant shopping experience and a favorite spot to grab everything I need.

Hi earlier today I went shopping @ my favorite Trader Joe’s location in Huntington Beach. All associates are friendly, found everything I needed today during my trip . Great customer service too, clean store too. I’m also happy that it wasn’t too crowded during my shopping trip this late afternoon. Thank you Trader Joe’s @ 5 Points Plaza my very 1st Trader Joe’s location that I started shopping @ back in 2011 or 2012 that I toured back then .

It’s the closet TJ I have near me. It’s pretty good the staff is pretty nice. However, the previous time I went some older lady ran over my ankle. They need to have a section for people in wheel chairs. My ankle literally hurt. Up to today I don’t if that is what’s causing my pain on my ankle. Though overall the store and employees are pretty nice. The products are good. I go mostly to get small snacks for my dogs and sometimes the goat cheese. I used to go more often but now I live a bit further and it’s a bit out of my way.

Fantastic store. A bit of everything that’s healthy and wholesome. Huge variety of foods and foodstuffs, note that everything I’ve had tastes GREAT! Both organic and regular. Easy shopping, very helpful staff. Decent prices.

Nice Specialty Grocery Store with ALL the normal staples with some unique items. Decent parking at this location—right on the corner in a larger strip mall. Friendly team. Got everything I came to get today.
