Huntington Beach Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

I had a tooth extracted at HB Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Chiccone was my dentist and he was amazing. He took the time to explain my X-ray, and discuss the entire procedure. The assistant working with him was caring and kind, and knew exactly what to do. The rest of the office staff was equally kind and professional. The procedure was over before I knew it and I was given detailed instructions for after care. Dr Chiccone phoned me at 4:00 that day to ask how I was doing. I would recommend this office and this doctor to anyone who needs any type of oral surgery. It was amazing from start to finish.

I’ve had a very good experience at HB O & M Surgery. Veronica and other front office staff were awesome-friendly, efficient and well organized from scheduling, reminder calls & billing. Surgical assistants were experienced, and well organized prepping for & assisting surgery. HBOMS is a comfortable modern facility & well-appointed. Dr. Telles communicated clearly and easily and answered all of my questions without hesitation- he reviewed my referral, carefully examined my specific situation/needs and explained the steps he would take regarding surgeries/follow-ups. Follow-up instructions were clear & my procedures have gone flawlessly. I would gladly recommend HB O & M Surgery.

I had two wisdom teeth removed here and had a very positive experience. I chose not to be put to sleep and, as a very anxious patient, I did start to panic a bit during the procedure. The staff and Dr Telles were incredibly patient, calming, and attentive, making sure I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. This was also a last-minute appointment and they still squeezed me in. The procedure went smoothly, and I’m truly grateful for the care and compassion they showed. Highly recommend, especially for anxious patients.

Doctor Telles and the entire team provided an exemplary experience, demonstrating not only professionalism, but also of great importance, compassion. His calm demeanor swiftly reassured me regarding what the procedures to rectify my issue would be, and throughout the more complex extraction, both he and the technicians maintained clear communication and consistently checked on my comfort. Was able to get emergency service. Staff is professional, competent, while being friendly and putting you at ease. Was given good follow up materials so you know exactly what to do and not do. Prescriptions were sent in immediately because who wants to wait around at the pharmacy! I have a lot of confidence in this organization and will come here for future needs.

Dr. Telles has good bed side manners (especially for an oral surgeon), takes the time to communicate and answer all my questions, without making me feel dumb even if the question was dumb. I really appreciate the way he placed the stitches after my extraction, the knot and tail of the suture was placed far from my tongue so it's not a constant annoyance during the healing phase. I've had many sutures over my lifetime and this small detail greatly reduced discomfort while healing.
