Black Mountain Dental

I had an incredible experience at this dental office! From the moment I made my initial phone call to inquire about an appointment, I was met with prompt and friendly service. Jolean, the receptionist, was at the front desk when I arrived for my dental care. Dr. Ghim came in right away and took the time to explain the dental procedures I would need. He was attentive, personable, thorough, and incredibly kind. The assistants were fantastic and worked seamlessly together, making the entire appointment a breeze. Sherry, the dental hygienist, ensured that I felt comfortable during my teeth cleaning and provided me with great tips on how to take care of my teeth. I left feeling like my teeth were expertly cleaned and that everything was explained in detail. I highly recommend this office to anyone seeking a great dental experience.

I hate to provide a three star because I really like Joleen, Taylor and the hygienist, they are so sweet and efficient but this is rating is specifically for the service from the dentist. I'm not sure how he provided 5 star service to so many but with me was totally different experience. From lacking bedside manner, he was so short in communication and couldn't run away fast enough from the room, he would stand behind me when speaking to me and I had a short few sec to ask what i needed. When he did speak to me, he spoke in a condescending and arrogant manner. I have had several root canals in my mouth in the past which I always ask the dentist to please numb me up well so I don't feel anything. I always get a minimum of 3 shots historically. This dentist gave me one shot and when I asked for more he said it should be enough and to raise my hand if I feel pain... WHAT!!! Needless to say I felt pain and had to raise my hand several times and guess what he had to give me more shots as I initially requested. I confronted him after about the numbing and he blew me off responding sarcastically. In addition, I obtained an infection as a result of this root canal, which I never had before. I had to call the next day in severe pain to get antibiotics prescribed. I'm actually shocked and saddened about this treatment from him because I really like the rest of the staff and would have loved to stay but there is no way I can return to someone performing major work in my mouth with such neglect and disregard.

At 27, I finally found a dentist I can actually rely on! The whole team at Black Mountain Dental is awesome — super friendly, professional, and they really make you feel comfortable. The office is clean, modern, and has all the latest equipment, which makes every visit quick and easy. They always take the time to explain everything and make sure you’re comfortable the whole way through. Honestly the best dental experience I’ve had!

Great dental office, clean, efficient and professional! Dr. Heeyup Ghim Treating our entire family, he is awesome. Always fast to respond in emergency. His staff great team that treats patients with respect and kidness.

I will never go anywhere else .Black Mountain Dental has transformed my smile .Dr Ghim is a class act . The staff is amazing and professional . I would not let anyone clean my teeth but Cherry she simply is amazing . In all my years I never made a review about a Dental office but Black Mountain Dental has changed that .

Dr Ghim seems knowledgeable and competent. Explains things well and provided the second opinion on a recommended dental treatment plan I was seeking.

Extremely nice; prompt (even at the end of the day!!!!!) and thorough. Super efficient with no time wasted. Excellent team making sure what is covered by insurance and what is paid by patient. Very knowledgeable.
