Carolina Smiles is hands down the best dental office I’ve ever been to. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and the experience has always been exceptional. The entire team is so welcoming, kind, and professional — they truly make you feel like family, not just a patient. At this point, my whole family comes here, and that says a lot. On my most recent visit on 1/21/26, my hygienist’s assistant had me in actual tears laughing — she is absolutely hilarious 😂🤣. Who knew a dental visit could be that enjoyable? From the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist, everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in the treatment you’re receiving. They are thorough, gentle, and always take the time to explain everything. If you’re looking for an amazing dentist with an incredible team, look no further — Carolina Smiles is the place to go. Not a good place anymore. I was a past patient and I actually changed because I wanted orthotics. They quoted me $3000 for upper Invisalign. I ended up getting a full set of braces for the same amount elsewhere. Today my issue is that I went back to them because they are in network with my insurance. When I scheduled my appointment it was because I thought I had a broken tooth. They called me the day before and requested that I come in at a different time to have my teeth cleaned prior to my tooth being fixed. I was quoted an amount for the procedure and agreed to pay that amount. When I get to the office, I’m told that my tooth would not be fixed and that I would only be able to receive a cleaning today. Long story short my tooth never got fixed. They quoted me an amount completely different and much more expensive than what my insurance quoted. They also quoted me an amount for cavities that they said I’ve had since 2020. The only issue with that is I had to have all of my cavities filled prior to my orthodontic treatment. Which was in 2022. No one could explain to me why they were going to charge me for fillings that should not have been needed. When I requested to see the cavities on the x-ray, I was shown a generic picture of some teeth with a circle drawn around it, indicating that those needed to be filled. I never actually saw my cavities on film. They said that I had to pay an additional cost because they use white filling in my insurance only covered silver. The issue with that is I went to an out of network Dentist and it cost me $80 to have the tooth filled with the white feeling. They quoted me $150. I have reason to believe that they are scamming me, and I would advise that you play close attention to how you are being billed. Ask questions if you have any concerns. My husband was seen a few months ago and had a tooth filled and was charged over $200. I checked on the benefits today and was told that it should’ve been about $70. Beware! They may need to be invested. I’m happy for those who found this place acceptable. Good dental care is important. Maybe they just didn’t like my insurance???

Had 2 of my wisdom teeth taken out this morning and Dr. Wang was WONDERFUL. I was extremely nervous about this and he made me laugh the whole way through. The front staff is super nice and helpful as well. Thankful for this team for making everything about this procedure as easy as it could be! Highly recommend!

My family have been patients here for over three years now and we've been happy with the care we've received. It can be a challenge to get appointments sometimes but there are frequent cancellations so it generally works out. You don't get the same people doing your cleanings every time, or see the same dentist, in case that matters.

My dental hygienist Lynn, was absolutely amazing ! She was very informative and knowledgeable.

Smile Starters has been nothing short of amazing. They’re convenient, informative, and always maintain great communication when it comes to my schedule and my kids’ oral health. I truly appreciate how smooth and stress-free they make every visit. Highly recommend!

Dr. Brotzman has done a great job over the past couple years cleaning and caring for our family’s teeth! She makes it a fun and enjoyable experience for our 4 year old and 2 year old kids. They actually LOOK FORWARD to going to the dentist! We highly recommend her and her pleasant team!
