South Gaston Pediatric Dentistry

South Gaston Pediatrics Dentistry has been wonderful. They do great work. They make sure you and your child understand any/all procedures/cleanings/x-rays etc. that are being performed and they make sure your child is comfortable. They are very professional, knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. AND VERY CLEAN!!!!! I would not take my children anywhere else!! We had such a wonderful experience bringing our 1-year-old in for his very first dental appointment! Dr. Manchery and Carrie were both amazing—so patient, gentle, and kind. They took the time to make sure our little one felt comfortable, and they explained everything clearly to us as parents. Carrie was especially sweet and made the whole visit fun and stress-free. Dr. Manchery was very thorough and gave us helpful tips for keeping our son’s teeth healthy as he grows. I couldn’t have asked for a better first dental visit—it really set the tone for positive experiences in the future. Highly recommend this office for anyone with young children!

The staff at South Gaston Pediatric Dentistry are very friendly and made my child comfortable. That is why we went forward with their suggestion to put my child under anesthesia for a crown and two fillings. Less than 18 months later, the two fillings had randomly fallen out. The first was repaired in the office. When the second filling fell out, they immediately said we would need to put her under again and get a second crown. They also said that she had another cavity and would need an additional filling. This would be a minimum of $2500 out of pocket, but that is not the point. They were recommending that she go under anesthesia for a second time, a second crown, and an additional filling. I did not feel comfortable about the recommendation and took her for a second opinion. She needed no dental work of any kind. There was no additional cavity anywhere. She did not need another crown. When I showed the proposed treatment plan to the new dentist, they discovered it called for a root canal on a baby tooth. South Gaston Pediatric Dentistry had not even mentioned that to me. Please do not take your child here. I almost allowed them to put my child under general anesthesia for absolutely no reason. There is no excuse for giving an unnecessary treatment plan like this. When I spoke to management at South Gaston Pediatric Dentistry they refunded our deposit immediately. She simply said "I am sorry that happened to you." They never even defended their actions. I believe that is because they do this on a regular basis.

I had taken both of my daughters in for treatment on same day. This was our very first visit to this office. From start to finish there was no guessing game on what was happening. From filling out all intake paperwork which was effortless to the actual procedures performed on the girls. All of the staff were so easy to talk to and they made you feel at home. The girls and I felt like we had went there for years in the end. They made sure the girls were comfortable throughout their procedures. We drove over an hour to this particular dentist office and at this point I do not want my children going anywhere else. And did I mention I waited less than 10 minutes in the waiting area and then the dentist immediately started once we were back and had both girls done in an hour. Amazing! It was such a great experience. 10/10

The ladies here were very sweet and professional. My child was nervous, of course, but Dr. Mandee made her feel extra comfortable and talked to her the whole time as they were working on her teeth. Really appreciate that. They also explained the after care for my childs teeth in detail to make sure I understood. Thanks ladies!! It was a bit of a travel to the dental office but it was a good experience!! 👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I can not say enough nice things about this office. From the front desk, to the back and everywhere in between the staff are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. Dr. Manchery is DEFINITELY in the right field. His compassion, and empathy are unmatched. My kids feel comfortable during every minute of their visits and as a parent I never feel dismissed. He explains everything as he is doing it, and is always making sure they are ok, and comfortable. If you are in need of a dentist for your children I recommend this place time and time again ❤️

The doctors and nurses at this facility are absolutely top notch! Dr. Manchery, Nurse Yasmin and Nurse Brittany were prompt, kind, and very calming to my children. Super supportive and sweet and I'm so glad to be a part of the South Gaston Pediatric fam!
