I normally don’t leave reviews, but people need to know what kind of experience they might be walking into here. This was honestly the worst dental visit I’ve ever had. I filled out my insurance information ahead of time and even called it in, yet when I arrived they somehow didn’t have it. My appointment was at 2:00 PM and I wasn’t seen until about 30 minutes later. I specifically came in because two teeth on the right side were hurting. Instead of focusing there, they spent about 45 minutes taking full-mouth X-rays I did not ask for and did not feel were necessary. It definitely felt like they were trying to bill every possible thing to insurance rather than addressing the actual issue I came in for. Then the dentist came in and, without much discussion, said I didn’t need a crown but instead suggested pulling the tooth and doing an implant. I started asking questions about that and about the other teeth he mentioned. While I was literally mid-conversation, he just walked out. No explanation. The assistant left too. I turned around and he was already working on another patient. I sat alone in that room for another 30 minutes with zero communication. Nobody checked on me. Nobody explained what was happening. For a place where patients are often anxious or scared, that lack of communication is unacceptable. When I finally went to the front desk, I mostly got excuses instead of accountability. A simple acknowledgment, apology, or clear explanation would have gone a long way. Bedside manner matters. Communication matters. Patients deserve to feel heard and respected, not rushed through so insurance can be billed. I won’t be returning, and I strongly recommend asking a lot of questions before choosing this office.

Such a great experience from start to finish! The entire office is warm, welcoming, and professional, you can tell they truly care about their patients. From the front desk to the exam room, everyone was kind and attentive. Nicole, my hygienist, was amazing! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely comfortable and at ease (which says a lot, because I’m usually anxious about dental visits). Truthfully, I was overdue on getting my cleaning (and I’m not the best flosser 😬) but she didn’t make me feel bad or give me any grief. She took her time and was very thorough. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, checked in often to make sure I was comfortable, and made the whole experience surprisingly enjoyable. I left with my teeth feeling great and a big smile on my face. Highly recommend this office and especially Nicole if you waynt top-notch care in a comfortable setting!

I had a dental emergency and looked around my area for anyone open and available to help me out. I found Smiles Family Dentistry and was so please with their kindness, efficiency, empathy and of course Dr. B's skills and friendliness. I have found my new dentist and am so grateful!!!

Everyone, from Dr Blankenship, to Carmen, to Patrick... So friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and most of all calming. So glad I chose Smiles in Frisco. I will be a patient there for life. Just wonderful. Can't say enough

Excellent service and very friendly. It was an emergency visit and they took excellent care of me. I saw Nicole Carmen Patrick and Dr. Blankenship. Everyone was very attentive. Made a painful situation a little better.

Every single person at this dental office (front desk, hygienist, and dentist) is so genuine, personable, and kind. This is the best place I have ever been to, and I will never go anywhere else! I was told by a previous dentist that I needed a root canal (and I have been terrified of the dentist from previous experiences), but the dentist here told me I only needed fillings. Saved me over a thousand dollars and a painful experience. Patrick at the front desk remembers my name every time and even asked me about how my exams in school were going. If you want a dentist who is honest and really knows what they are doing, and a great environment with personable staff, come here!!

I searched a lot of places to have my root canal done and I stumbled upon this Gem! Fast appointments, through explanation, and affordable. I highly recommend!
