Another appointment and another positive review! The Doctors, assistants and front desk all work so well together and communicate so quickly and effectively. You know what you’re getting during treatment and they make sure you’re ok through the entire appointment. They work with you per dental plans and payments and make sure to inform you on your overall dental health through your whole journey. What a fantastic dental office!

First visit here. The entire staff was amazing. From front staff to the back staff. Tori is incredible with exposing insurance and coverage. Dr Tong was very thorough and extremely nice! Also, the hygienist Holly was amazing! I will be visiting again! 🙂

Today was my first visit at Active Dental and being that i am new to the Frisco area and figuring things out I would say I am very pleased with my experience. The dental assistant was very friendly and patient while taking all the photos and getting information. The hygienist came in very friendly also, he got to work and explained everything to me about what was going on with my teeth, very informative. He also showed me the proper way to floss my teeth. Dr. Tong was friendly and informative also she examined my teeth and talked me through everything based on what I needed to do moving forward to have great healthy teeth. They move at your pace with everything. Overall, I had a great visit and will continue with all my dental needs here at Active Dental. 10/10

I had an amazing experience today at Active Dental! My dental hygienist, Muneeb, was extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Tong was a great provider. She was extremely polite, informative, and helped me address my concerns while decreasing my dental anxiety. Thank you to Dr. Tong and your wonderful team!

Just moved to Frisco and was super nervous starting with a new dentist after being with my old one for 13 years. But the ladies here took really good care of me. Rita was very good at explaining everything. She made sure everything was clear and my cleaning was good. 10/10

This would be 5 stars because the staff was amazing and super friendly. There was almost no wait time. And their hours are great as I was able to go in on a Saturday. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t warn everyone to get a 2nd opinion if you come out of this office hearing you have a number of cavities. I came in for a cleaning, and was told I had 6 cavities all of which were on the verge of needing root canals. This surprised me as I have never had a history of cavities and I have absolutely no pain, discomfort, or sensitivity. I was provided their "game plan" which included what they would be charging (how much insurance covered and how much I’d have to pay out of pocket). My insurance is great and covered about 80% and I would still be walking away having to pay almost $500 for the fillings. With that being said, I decided to get a second opinion. Active transferred all their X-rays and the new dentist also took a series of X-rays (he couldn’t see much from Active’s copies). The new dentist told me that not only did I not have any cavities but that he doesn’t even see a trace of what MIGHT be a cavity. So, please get a second opinion if you decide to come here. I’m so glad I did.
