Every procedure is handled with precision and attention to detail. Dr. Chen clearly knows what they’re doing and has the skill to back it up. Beam Dental in Fort Lee is the best place I have ever gone to for my dental needs. The staff is friendly and they make scheduling appointments extremely easy. The facility is clean and modern. The main Dentist (Doctor Chen) is knowledgeable and communicates extremely well. What really impressed me with Beam was the Dental Hygenist (Stephanie). She was informative, friendly and kind. Stephanie gave me two deep cleanings and she was incredibly gentle while being thorough at the same time. My teeth and gums never felt better after the cleanings. I highly recommend Beam Dental fort all your dental needs!

Stephanie, my hygienist, was painless, thorough and gentle. Dr. Chen did my exam after and was very approachable, making sure I understood my dental health and any necessary treatment. I left feeling informed and confident. #1 dental office for anyone looking for an affordable and reliable practice!

Great for cleaning and yet I had terrible experience with my recent filling.(5-star cleaning +1-star filling ~= 2-start over all.) To be fair, I will start by saying that my experiences with regular cleanings and preventive services at this office have been amazing (Jasmine is wonderful and has always exceeded my expectations). However, my recent appointment for a filling was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. The entire procedure felt like I was on an assembly line. The assistant rushed me through every step without a simple greeting (she later on apologized and mentioned that she was not having a great day that day which I understood). A few minutes into the filling, I indicated I was in distress - had excessive liquid in my mouth and was struggling to breathe. I was told the procedure "cannot be stopped" and that I "just needed to hang on." The amount of anesthetic I was given was so excessive that my entire jaw went numb. My lower lip was also so out of control that I physically could not close my mouth when asked, which likely contributed to what happened next. While finishing up on one side of the filling, water overflowed from my mouth, running all over my face and into my eye. I had to demand that they stop so I could rinse and clean my face. Right before I left, Dr. Yoo told me I should be able to have dinner just a few hours later and that everything would return to normal. This was completely inaccurate. Both sides of my teeth are extremely sensitive, my gums are sore 2 days after, and I cannot chew properly without feeling the pain. I was given zero instructions on what to do in case of pain or soreness, which I was unfortunate. My previous doctor (at the same practice) had always advised doing this procedure one side at a time to minimize impact. The decision to rush both sides at once, combined with the excessive anesthetic and the dismissive attitude, resulted in a terrible experience. While I would still trust this office for cleaning, I absolutely cannot recommend them for any restorative work. I left feeling dismissed, in pain, and poorly cared for. Updates: I went to see Dr. Chen 2 weeks after, he was quite nice and polished my teeth a bit to make them line up better. With the pretty bad initial damage though, my teeth are still sensitive to chew not-so-hard thing such as green pepper, oatmeal, cereals now it's been 3 weeks.

I recently received treatment at this dental clinic, and I was thoroughly impressed. The pricing was very reasonable, and the service I received was top-notch. The clinic itself is exceptionally clean, and the facilities are modern and well-equipped, which made me feel confident that I was receiving accurate and professional care. The office manager, Jane, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality dental care with excellent customer service.
