The staff at Golden State Dental are always professional, courteous, and friendly. Suzanne the hygienist is the best! Very professional and knowledgeable about her job! She always asks how I’m doing when she is in the process of cleaning my teeth. She lets me know what she is doing and why. She also makes sure I leave the office with the necessary tools to continue my care at home. Great team of people!

I had a rare bottom canine baby tooth and knew in the future I would need to get an implant. Got recommended from my general dentist Healthy Image and went for a consult. Thing was I lived in Florida at the time but knew I would be moving back to California eventually. So finding a Doc and team to work with me during this time was difficult and scary. My experience with Golden State Dental went so smooth and I couldn’t have asked for more. Doctor S and his team drew me up a plan and helped me understand how we needed to do this since there would be down time for healing etc. I cannot recommend this place enough. Been to 2 of their locations and both were so clean and amazing. If you are looking for a trustful periodontist who looks out for you and your smile, Golden State Dental it is!

From the moment I stepped into Golden State Dental office on my first visit I knew I was in good hands. The front desk staff greeted me warmly with genuine smiles, making check-in a breeze. I was referred to Dr. Paydar due to a failed dental implant. From my first appointment he was (and has continually been) a truly exceptionally skilled and compassionate dentist. He took the time to explain every step of the surgical procedures I needed. The surgery went smoothly as was the recovery. It is rare to find a dental professional who is not only so technically skilled but also genuinely sincere in his concern for his patients. During my recent appointment I was thrilled to hear that the overall health of my teeth and gums has greatly improved and I credit Dr. Payday and his incredible staff for these results. This appointment was my second cleaning and the dental hygienist, Jessica H, was both friendly, professional and highly skilled. She explained each step of the cleaning process, ensuring I was comfortable and informed. Her gentle touch and attention to detail made what is usually a routine procedure feel relaxing and even enjoyable. I now actually look forward to having my teeth cleaned here as the Dental Hygienists at Golden State Dental are all THE BEST. Overall, this has been by far the best dental office I have had the privilege to be a patient of. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for exceptional dental care delivered with kindness and professionalism. Dr Paydar and staff are all professional, friendly and cooperative / helpful. Having received many forms of dental care in my life and having long patient relationships with a few different offices in the last 30 years, Golden State - Folsom matches the atmosphere that is most important to me. I would recommend their services to friends and family, without hesitation.

I first went to Dr Paydar and Dr Kyu approx 3 yrs ago for two tooth extractions and implants. In addition to their expertise, they showed compassion and care and kept me informed throughout this lengthy process. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. A special shout out to the periodontal hygienist. She has a wealth of experience, explains what she is doing during the cleaning and welcomes questions.

There is no one better than Suzanne to help you keep your teeth for life. She is a periodontal hygienist and she is meticulous, shares her knowledge about good dental health, is gentle, and really knows her craft. I’m 82, have all my teeth because I have followed her advice for years. And she is a wonderful human being.
