Gangnam Kids Dental (江南儿童牙科法拉盛)

The dentist and the assistant were amazing! I went there today because my almost 8 year old daughter was complaining about her tooth pain. I looked into her mouth and was shocked to find out that there is a huge cavity on the upper left quadrant of her teeth. Apparently, she only brushed the area that I can see and skipped brushing the top almost entirely. The dentist explained to me that extractions need to be done on two teeth that were next to each other. As much as I don’t want to accept the fact and as much as I want to preserve the natural tooth, the reality is the teeth have to be out. There were simply not enough tooth left for restoration. The only choice left was which tooth has to come out first and which tooth will come out on the following appointment. Her cavities were so big that it’s almost touching the nerve. It’s also causing infection in the gum and all the pain that she is enduring. The doctor was so patient and kind. She went over the x ray with me multiple times and pin point the problem tooth in her mouth. There was not a shred of confusion on what has to be done and which tooth will come out. My daughter was scared in the beginning, but came out and told me that she almost fell asleep during the procedure. As soon as I heard that, I knew the procedure went well and probably painless. I am very grateful to the doctor. It was a long procedure because some fillings were also done. It hurts me that she has to go back for another extraction, but I took the comfort that she is in the good hand

A very bad doctor clearly told her what she needed to do, but he insisted on it without permission and did not tell our parents. Originally, we only needed to pull out a bad tooth, and I told her which one! She pulled it out by mistake! He pulled out a painless tooth and said afterwards that we didn't understand. It's outrageous! Let my child suffer more on the basis of his pain! My child has been taking painkillers for several days! Now another one is broken, and it will hurt for several days! Too bad!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with the pediatric dentist and her assistant during my 9-year-old’s tooth extraction. From the moment we arrived, they created a calm, friendly atmosphere that helped ease my child’s nerves. Everything was explained in a gentle, kid-friendly way, which made a big difference. The extraction itself was done quickly and with such care. The assistant was incredibly kind and supportive, keeping my child relaxed and reassured throughout the entire process. Their teamwork and patience were so appreciated, and it was clear they both genuinely care about their young patients. After the visit, my child said, "That wasn’t scary at all!" and that says everything. I’m so thankful for their kindness and professionalism, and I highly recommend them to any parent looking for compassionate, expert dental care for their child.

This place is absolutely amazing. I called on Saturday for an appointment for my daughter and got one for Monday afternoon. We were greeted and taken care of right away. My daughter needed two procedures and she was handled with such care. I would highly recommend this establishment for any kind of dental work needed for your child. It's easy to make appointment and we've only had positive experiences. Doctor is very experienced and knowledgeable! Not easy to find quality dentist that kids will trust! My son is excited to go to the appointment to have his issue fixed! 👍

What a wonderful experience at this office! The dentist was very knowledgeable & experienced. She was very kind to my 6yr old nephew. I will definitely recommend this office to others.

My 2 boys have been going here for more than 9 years. The dentist and assistant are always professional and nice. They have always been very gentle with my kids and try and make them feel as much comfortable as possible. They always enjoy the little gifts they receive at the end. There is also an entertainment area for when you are waiting so kids don't get fussy. I also like that they decor to the children's style. Lastly, there are always accommodations they try and do if necessary. I called to have my sons loose tooth pulled out but didn't have the following day available. The next day I received a called back that they could accommodate me in. So I really appreciate that. Highly recommend.
