Kroger

Stopped in after work this evening about 30 minutes before they closed. Didn’t plan on stopping in so late, but it’s the closest store to home. The Staff was very kind, A gentlemen who appeared to be off already, quietly helped me bag my items, and wished me good night. It doesn’t seem like much, but so often you see workers reacting rudely so close to closing time. I encountered an issue with one of my items scanning and the other attendant was prompt and polite to get it taken care of. Of course this is your job, you get paid to be here, but not everyone is kind while on the clock. Thank you! 🙂

Whatever you do , do not use their delivery service here. I bought $250 worth of groceries.The day before thanksgiving. With their delivery service through their app. They said it was delivered , but nothing was delivered at all. I called customer service that said they will give me a full refund. It will take 3-5 business days to receive. I waited a full seven days. I call them five days in asking them where the refund was. Day said it was delayed because of holiday and it's 3-5 days business. I got to the whole week and call them today.And they said it was denied. Did Not say why so they put me in for a refund that can be denied again.And another possibly five days to wait. So now I have 2 dispute with my credit card.Because I cannot waste no more time of mine on these jerks. I did not have nothing for thanksgiving because of these greedy people and their people , they hire. Need they force you to pay them a tip because if you don't you do not get your item that you paid for. So there is no reason to even use these people.Just go there and get your own food.Do not pay for a membership or a delivery fee and tip for something you never going to get.

Halstead Village Kroger customer for at least fifteen years. Store clean, bright and organized. A pleasure to shop at this particular location. Good selection of food items along with household merchandise. All employees are welcoming, friendly, helpful and courteous. Especially fond of Linda, Sara, Elizabeth, Lina, Eunice and Jean. These ladies are incredibly awesome. Treat their customers with respect and kindness. Always exit store a happy customer. Thank you…

I wish Linda worked everyday. She's so sweet and professional. Can't say the same about the lady working the self checkout on 11/4 at about 3pm. Lazy... rude... inattentive... the list can go on. If not for Linda... the rating would be a 1 star.

Frequently used this local Kroger for many years and have seen it improve and drop. Just visited the meat counter where I politely asked to custom cut a larger piece of meat. Crystal, the assistant, made the shopping experience miserable. She could not have cared less about customer service and was quite rude and put out about having interact with a customer. I suggest her finding another job as her current one makes her so miserable.

Worst Kroger ever. If I wanted a job at Kroger I would get one. Never have a regular check out open. Self check outs constantly stop for " assistance" that never comes. Stay away!!!! Spend your money at any other store!!!!

The cashier Janice on September 13th at approximately 4:05 was rude, unprofessional and displayed disparity treatment between myself and African-American and Caucasian. The Caucasian was treated with respect and I was treated disrespectful. I returned two bags of lettuce Janice the cashier slap one bag of lettuce on top of making a loud slapping noise and stated that it was past the expiration date as if she was frustrated. I explained to her that it was a pick up order that I did not select the item. I also returned hoagie bum I had ordered hot dog bums that had substituted for hoagie buns. My husband unaware took one bum out out the pack. I didn’t want to return it with a bun he had handle so that was left out of the pack, she accuse me of eating one of the bum while hold the pack up in her hand. Again I told her this was a pickup item. I stated pick up order which was out of my control. She was very disrespectful with her tone and facial expressions ideas speak with the supervisor Cheryl and she said she would talk with her. I truly hope so
