Evansville Pediatric Dentistry: Dr. Jeffrey Hiester, DDS

Ok this is probably going to be long and overly detailed. I just want everyone to fully grasp why this place is getting a GLOWING review from me. I feel like it’ll be such a good review, it’ll sound fake, compensated for, or like a family review. I assure you, it’s real, I am not being compensated, and I was a complete stranger to everyone in the office before our appointment today. Let me preface by saying that previously at another pediatric dentist, my oldest (and I) had a terrrible experience. So I wasn't exactly excited to "get back out there" with my middle son, who just turned 3, but after some encouragement from his PCP and a couple recommendations from some friends, I made an appointment, but I wasn’t sold just yet. We got to the office and I filled out paperwork while my son played in the playroom. That was awesome. Shortly after we got called back where we met Dr Jeff (as he called himself). He asked me a couple of questions and directed us over to a chair. He offered my son to sit in the dental chair and watch a movie, but the tears started welling up, so he offered to let me hold him on my lap in a different chair. Dr Jeff explained everything he was doing to Jace and explained what he was using. He was so nice and kind and patient. And while I can’t prove it, I’m certain Dr Jeff is magic. Jace sat like a proper gentleman, while Dr Jeff did his thing. UNLIKE AT HOME WHERE HE’S A BUSY, BUSY BOY. Dr Jeff has such a calming vibe. I just can’t explain how amazing he was and how comfortable it made me feel. Lindsay then came and helped finish up with Jace and guess what. Also magic. Kind and patient. I walked out thinking, ‘Was this a dream? A fairytale?’ So if you’re looking for a dentist for some of your favorite people, look no further. This is exactly how every pediatric dental office should be.

We absolutely love Dr. Hiester! The kids love him as well. He makes their appointments completely not scary and he while he is on top of kids brushing teeth and flossing he doesn't crucify a parent or teen if they do less than exemplary! He just makes you want to get an A on his teeth report card! I wish he took adult patients!

My girls went to him for 10 years until they were adults. Dr. Heister and his staff are top notch. Couldnt have ask for better care for my children. Thank you Dr. Heister and team!

Great with children. My daughter has a fear of Doctor's and dentist. He made her comfortable and relaxed. Really nice a personable.

Kids went here years ago and it was great. Now I’m taking grandson. Great people

Our very first time there's the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable and my son went and got his procedure done without my help and everything like that because he trusted in the staff it's a great place!!!

Dr. Heister and his staff help your child feel comfortable going to the dentist. Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.
