i should've read the reviews before going here. i went for a checkup and first of all, i only saw dr johnson for like three mins. waiting in the lobby and signing consent forms took longer than the xray + consultation. even worse, like other people have mentioned, the cleaning appointment needs to scheduled separately but there is very very low availability (the hygenist is there only tuesdays and wednesdays, or something like that) and i had to schedule mine months after the checkup, which i just think is dumb. the front desk staff are very unkind and unprofessional - they definitely need a better way of scheduling appointments. will never go here again lol

My wife got a crown and it fell out almost immediately. Then they couldn't schedule her to repair it for 4 days. We had to reschedule our vacation because of their shoddy work. Don't waste your time on these unprofessional dentists.

Horrible experience. I have a new insurance so I had to switch to this dental office which use to be my dental office over 20 years ago when I was a kid….but a lot have changed. The front staff are completely unprofessional and clearly needs to be more organized when scheduling appointments. For a starter I had to make multiple appointments because they don’t do cleaning and X-ray on the same visit which was an inconvenience but I guess that’s what they do…fine. They have booked multiple appointments for me giving me a specific time and then calling me the day before my appointment with a reminder but giving me a different appointment time. Then they schedule my daughter for a cleaning with the hygienist who don’t even happen to be there when we get there. Another time they call me to come in at an earlier time because the dentist have an emergency and when I get there they tell me I don’t have an appointment for that time. Just save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. My family will be switching dentist. This place is an absolute joke

I want to give negative star if there is an option. All the negative reviews about this dental clinic is 100% true. I should have read the reviews before going there. This dentistry is very unprofessional and would charge you hidden fees later. Me and my wife went there for a regular dental check up and they sent us a bill later saying that they need to charge extra for the X-ray which is covered with the insurance. And after the check up, they try to scare my wife that she needed a crowing done asap as her tooth decay is really bad. But we were surprised because she is not feeling that much pain in her teeth. We were more suspicious because they try to lure us that it is not covered by the insurance but they would put us on monthly payment plan. They were just trying to rip us off as much as they could from our visit. We turned down their offer and the next day, we went to see another dentist. The dentist made all the check ups and cleaned my wife teeth. And told us that everything is fine for both of us and all the teeth are healthy. Therefore, this Lakeside Dentistry would have costed my wife healthy teeth if we did the crowing and would have burdened us with the bills too. Please avoid at all cost and always double check with another dental clinic if they tell you to do something with your teeth as they are really unprofessional. And I got a bill in December about the X-ray that I did and when I called their office for explanation about each of the items they charged me on my bill, they refused to answer and put me on hold or hang up my calls. They kept telling me to call the insurance company but those charges were done by their clinic and, they have the right to explain to us, the customers, of the charges they make on the bill. Very fishy and not professional at all. Avoid at all cost.

You have to schedule one appointment for x-rays and another for the cleaning. There is very low availability, so I had to schedule appointments months in advance. They rescheduled on me twice: once, I showed up to the office and they informed me that they had rescheduled my appointment (though they never notified me). The second time, they called me to reschedule to another time that day that I couldn’t do, and the only other available appointments were months away. The dentist and hygienists seemed fine, but the scheduling was a disaster. With all the rescheduling, I couldn’t even get an appointment for a cleaning after my x rays after trying for six months, so I had to switch dentists.

I scheduled an initial appointment for myself at Lakeside Dentistry / Procare Dental Group on Tuesday, March 1. I was informed that the dentist does not do cleanings at first appointments and that I was required to make an appointment at a later date to have my teeth cleaned. I did so...and the first available appointment was more than a month after my exam in May. I show up for the cleaning at 3:30pm on the day in question, only to be informed that it had been rescheduled to 12:30 pm that same day and "Didn't you get our phone message?" I received no notification and had no voicemail or email, my wife also received no notification of the changes. The receptionist told me that she was sorry, but that the earliest date she had available for a cleaning was Friday, July 15. I take the exam date...because I wanted to get my teeth cleaned. I show up at the appointed time on Friday, July 15 to be told, "Oh, we don't have you on the schedule for today. I can get you in on Friday the 19th of August." At this point, I told them never mind. I'll go in for a cleaning with a different dentist in September. This office is exceptionally disorganized and is unable to schedule people in a timely and efficient matter. I DO NOT recommend going to this dental office!

Save yourself the hassle. The reviews are accurate. Such a terrible experience. Had to go in for two appointments. Already a pain. I have a VERY tight work schedule and accommodating that is a miserable process already. I haven’t had insurance before.... so, I was asking for a little bit of help with how to get them as my assigned dentist through insurance. I was treated poorly and the woman at the front desk was rude and even hung up on me. I should have known this was going to only be the beginning. My x-ray was ok on my first visit. I got a bill for $10 in the mail.... even though I paid at my visit. Weird. When I went back for my cleaning, I sat in waiting area for 45 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes early. Got into the chair 30 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. After I got into the chair, it was another 25 minutes before anyone came to speak to me. I explained to the hygienist that I had sensitive gums because I haven’t been able to afford to go to the dentist for a while. She seemed irritated that I had to ask her to hold off. She said "sorry but you have sooooo much buildup from so many years." I said "I just had my teeth cleaned last year. What do you mean?" She said "Maybe it was all your complaining. They probably didn’t finish." Really? Are you serious? At the end of the cleaning, the dentist didn’t even come and check to see how things looked. What a friggen joke this place is.
