Gentle Dental Eugene

I went to this dentist a few years ago and my experience was horrible. One dentist told me I should look into jaw surgery for my tmj while fixing a emergency broken tooth which looks cracked in multiple spots. The next dentist told me just to try a mouth guard first. He was very nice but clearly not very good at fillings. My new dentist is now fixing all of the rough fillings I had done at this location. They also had me booked for a wisdom teeth removal which they canceled on me 15 minutes before my appointment when I was already there. So I made a new appointment and they canceled on that one also! The pressure was so intense it cracked one of my bottom teeth which he didn't fill immediately and said it would be fine for now. Well it wasn't. I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed plus the bottom one from a different place since I was in horrible pain for 2 years waiting. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone with what they did to my teeth. The receptionists all at that time were very nice also.

The receptionist is very very nice, kind and understanding of fears that come with being at the dentist. I found out that they are booked almost a year out. But I was able to get into their emergency walk-in and I was seen almost immediately. The dental assistant was very nice and thorough. The appointment didn't take long at all. I needed antibiotics and the dentist was clear with instructions so there was no confusion. I got my Rx and the whole process took less than an hour. It was great. Also instead of having to wait until August 2026 for my next appointment they were able to move it up to February 2026. Thank you Gentle Dental in Eugene team!

The staff was quick, friendly and put me at ease. I was not a patient of theirs, but when I came in with 2 broken teeth I was seen within the hour! One day later, half hour appointment and my smile is better than ever! Being a person who suffers 'white coat syndrome ' ( anxiety in medical settings ), I am incredibly grateful to have found such a great team to care for my oral health ❤️ Who would have thought broken teeth could be a happy accident??

The office staff are professional and friendly. Candice treated me like family and guided me to options. Scheduling found the appointment when I really needed it. The dentist was compassionate and provided quality care. 🦷🪥⚙️

I went in to the emergency clinic on Chambers. The dentist literally took a Quick Look at my mouth said I have to make an appointment and he couldn’t help me today, that I’m going to continue to be in pain. I tried to explain I think I have an exposed nerve and he would not listen to me. I left that office, called another dentist who was able to get me in in the afternoon, I have an exposed nerve, was able to help me get out of pain. This dentist is a joke and for private insurance is wild to have that experience.

Great staff and excellent dental work by Dr Sakan. Super strict about being late or missing appointments, but this makes so much sense as they are in such great demand. Very knowledgeable and straight talkers!

Very professional. Candace the business manager is amazing. She is very helpful and does her very best to get you an appointment and scheduled. She went above and beyond. Dr. Saikin also amazing. Very good dentist and explains everything honestly and throughly!Very professional! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
