My Dentist is the best dentist office I’ve seen in 20 yrs! Beautiful, Clean, spacious office with the most Hi Tech up to date equipment! Treatment is always super comfortable and no pain. The STAFF is AMAZING 😍 Super polite and helpful always a smile and they are genuinely kind and caring. Everyone in this office is always pleasant and puts you at ease like a part of the family. This is my forever Dental home, I’ve been a patient for about 5 years now and love coming here. You will not be disappointed! Thank you My Dentist Staff in Ellicott City ! You are the best !❤️❤️
Hugely variable experiences here depending on the RN, assistant, or dentist you draw. Most dental front desks ask about medical changes or tooth issues, here you're only given a form asking you to pay for fluoride (recommended every 6mo) or cancer screening (recommended every 12mo.) I guess you're always due for fluoride but screening should be every other visit? Anyway its on you to remember whether you're due cancer screening or not, they just offer it on each visit. Either is an up-charge. I've not been scheduled to see the same dentist or staff two visits in a row. I've been told I absolutely need a night guard one visit, but I let it slide, and heard nothing about it at the next visit from a different dentist. If it was a need, and my teeth were showing obvious signs of grinding, I would expect it to come up again. The practice has become part of what must be a management or franchise group ("My Dentist") and this may be responsible for the procedures. The care seems fine but be aware there are a lot of revenue streams in play here. I miss Don Coronel and the straightforward dental care when he ran this practice.
As a first time patient I had mixed feelings on my appointment but as you have now sent a sent three requests in less than a week I will review your office. The day before my appointment I got a message that the Doctor asked me to come in 30 minutes early as Dr. Bui "gets more time with you". I reminded them as I couldn't have an x-ray and asked if they still wanted me to come in early and they said yes. I arrived 30 minutes early only to be called back at my original appointment time. The hygienist didn't know I was a first time patient and asked no questions until after my cleaning. The doctor spent less than 3 minutes in the room with me and said that until there were x-rays there was nothing to discuss. I ended up spending a total of 90 minutes in the office for a routine 6 month cleaning. Although the staff was friendly it felt like a huge waste of my time and an oversight for no one except the receptionist knowing I was a first time patient. This practice will ask you over and over for a 5 star review as well as reward you if you do, be cautious of the reviews you see on this platform. In response to your reply. You had my entire medical history (including x-rays less than one year old) for months before my appointment. Why ask someone to come in to discuss things and have no one discuss them with you?
Great experience every time. Dr Bui is an excellent and capable physician and I cannot he happier with my dental care. I was used to seeing Dr Aziz ( amazing doc) and now seeing Dr Bui , a very amazing compassionate and highly skilled physician. I have received excellent and unparalleled care from Dr Bui and glad I have her as my dentist. I feel blessed that I have these 2 Dentist for my dental care. I have therefore moved 2 of my kids to this dental office and they are super happy with the care too. My third child and nieces will be moved over to this office early next year due to age. The hygienists are very skilled and gentle and respectful too. The front desk welcomes you with genuine smiles. The office is very clean and wait times are 5 mins or less , very rarely 10-15mins. Yes I recommend My Ellicott City Dentist to every family needing a gentle yet highly skilled dental care.
I called this morning with questions about a procedure and they scheduled me for an afternoon consult. The young ladies at the front desk and the entire staff are very polite, professional, and willing to go above and beyond to help. Dr. Bui was awesome. She listened and took the time to go over options and also provided me with a referral to ensure I explored all my options. I'm considering choosing this as my new dental office. I recommend this office for dental services.
I had a wonderful experience during my recent dental cleaning. The hygienist was gentle and thorough. Dr. Aziz was equally attentive and explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and didn’t rush through the exam.
Avoid this office at all costs. Treatment plan sales man feels like a used car sales man, tried to get me to sign a plan that is not necessary. I visited My Ellicott City Dentist for a routine checkup and was surprised to receive a treatment plan recommending deep cleaning (D4341) and laser bacterial reduction for all four quadrants. When I asked for my periodontal chart and X-rays to understand the diagnosis, the office could not clearly explain which areas required deep cleaning or show any 4–6 mm pocket measurements. I later learned that these procedures are only necessary when significant gum disease is documented. It made me feel pressured into agreeing to expensive treatment without full transparency. I hope the office can focus more on explaining medical necessity and providing supporting data before recommending advanced procedures. Patients deserve clear communication and trust when it comes to dental care decisions.
