They are so lovely. Take time to care for their patients. Thorough with their cleanings, explanations and procedures. HIGHLY recommend! Supported and helped get me my forever smile. Needed an abutment and crown fitting and took me in with open arms and wanting to solve the problem. The implant, tooth and attention to detail brought (happy) tears to my eyes! So professional and thorough. So happy will definitely be making this a permanent place to have my teeth properly taken care of. First time ever going into a dentist office and not experiencing any stress, anxiety, or judgment. A well-run business! Dr. Gulati and ALL of the techs and front desk ladies and everyone else at the practice are amazing! Can’t thank them enough!
I’ve had such a great experience at Ellicott City Family Dentistry. Heather, my hygienist, always does a fantastic job—thorough, gentle, and makes the whole process really comfortable. Dr. Gulati is also extremely thorough and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciate. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. It’s clear they truly care about their patients. Highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a dentist in the area!
Unfortunately disappointed with the transition to new ownership after Dr. Lohmeyer’s retirement, similar to a few other reviewers. My appointments were frequently cancelled or I was asked to change the time, which is very difficult when arranging appointments around work schedules. Felt very sales-focused and did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. There seems to be a shift in culture (in a negative way), evidenced by the multiple long-time wonderful staff that have left abruptly.
My first appointment was for a cleaning. The tech spent the entire hour taking X-rays. The Dr came in to speak to me about the X-rays and then says "Your teeth look pretty good after the cleaning". Not only did the tech not tell the Dr she didn’t clean my teeth but the Dr also couldn’t tell. I said I didn’t get a cleaning and the Dr looked embarrassed. I head to reception to make a follow up appt for cleaning and to replace two fillings and the receptionist says the techs are temps and they are still trying to navigate the appointments. How I that my problem?? The receptionist initially scheduled me for 12/2 for the cleaning. I asked if she could do 12/4 instead for both the cleaning and fillings. She stalled a while and then said yes I’ll make it work. 12/2 I get a message that the appt was canceled due to weather. I then get a call on 12/3 that I need to reschedule the 12/2 appt. I said, that appt should have been canceled as my services were on 12/4. The lady argues me down and I say listen pls cancel the 12/4 appt as this office has wasted my time and is unorganized. Boooooooo Do not recommend. Going to request my X-rays and take them to another provider.
I am very disappointed at the new dentist that took over Dr lohmeyer practice was very vague and had her hygienist explain to me what i had to do with my issue i spent over 20000.00 thousand dollars for my implants about 3 years ago. I went to her office 1 year ago and told her they were feeling loose at that time she didn't tell me what was wrong she said she didn't find any issues with them by her taking x rays at that time I told her that I knew there wasn't anything wrong with implants I told her threw my experience that all they need was to be recommended in like two of them were done by Dr lohmeyer . So I made a appointment with her secretary and told her what for i was coming in. When I got there she said that she doesn't have equipment to fix the problem. Why didn't she tell me this one year ago if I feel them loose I need to go to implant surgeon. There is something wrong with this situation cosmetic work is done bt dentist surgery is done by surgeon Dr Michael Schwartz who i belive is a great surgeon. I'm wasting time i belive and money very disturbed with this issue it was only 3 years ago and I have implants that are 20 years old and occasionally I need to go back and get them recemented.
This place is the best dentist office I have ever been to. From office staff to the dentist herself. Everyone was super nice, very understanding that someone may not had been to a dentist in quite sometime. I would recommend this place 1,000%. So glad my wife found this place. 10 out of 10!!
I enjoyed my visit, even though I'm scared of the dentist 🤣🤣. Dr. Gulati, her assistant and the staff was very friendly. Made my visit very calming and welcoming. She's the first dentist that explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. Thank you again!
