Zak Dental - Downey

My first visit at Zak Dental was not the best… the ladies at the front desk were great and I ask if there was a different doctor I can see. They recommended Dr. Peepers what a change from the other two Doctors that took care of me Dr Peepers was very attentive, making sure that I was comfortable, she has great touch when she’s working. Found the right Dentist I recommend Dr Peepers 100%

I stress out days before any appointment and was pleasantly surprised as my stress was quickly alleviated. The Doctor was patient with me and in the end wondered why I stressed out so much. I still have my moments but confidently know it will be good.The staff, (his assistant, xray tech, etc) have helped me to navigate through it all! Thank you Dr. Toosi.

I had such a great experience at Dr. Zack Downey’s office! The staff is welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Downey is not only knowledgeable but also very kind and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. The office is clean, modern, and runs on time, which I really appreciate. I left feeling confident about my dental health and well cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Toosi and Felicity and his team to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring office!

I was so Welcome today . Yesterday 1/12 was received nice .I had an appointment n some how they didn’t give me the right day. But today everyone was very friendly . The Doctor n nurses we amazing nice. Did a great job on my mouth. Thank you all.see you soon. I highly recommend this Dental office

Checkup and cleaning appointments are always made separate, requiring 2 visits at a minimum. The dentist that reviews your check-up is remote, so you have to wait in some queue until they are available to talk to you over the internet or make a separate appointment, and they often try to upsell on their flouride treatment and other products which I did get for my kids, but required more visits to the dental office and didn't end up preventing cavities for them. Appointments often require 1-2 months of advanced planning, making any appointment changes is painful since an ortho appointment which should be every 6 weeks is now 3 months apart. What I do like is they are organized and have call center service promptly available and return calls quickly, and try to resolve any appointment or insurance issues immediately.

Worst experience I have ever had at a dental office! I went in as a new patient, I arrived at my appointment 20 minutes early the check in process was great and as soon as they took me in for my ex rays and that’s where the appointment went south. The kid doing my ex rays was not very gentle taking the photos. After he asked if I had any concerns about my teeth I let him know that one of my veneers had fallen out and I wanted to know if they could reattach it. This kid did not know what a veneer was and asked me if I could spell it out for him so I did. After the X-rays I was put into a room where I was told a dentist would meet with me virtually through the screen inside the room. 10 minutes pass, 30 minutes pass and nothing. Finally, the receptionist comes after waiting almost 40 minutes to tell me the Dentist is delayed and would take about another 30 minutes for my virtual consultation. I was offered a later appointment or to reschedule, at that point I was already disappointed so I left. I don’t plan on going back.
