The first time I visited Dr. Del Puerto’s office was just for a cleaning and now I’m a patient for life. I’ve never been to a dental or medical practice where every staff member and every doctor truly makes you feel like family. I’ve had multiple procedures done here, from amalgam replacement to Invisalign, and every single experience has been amazing. The care, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. I fully recommend Dr. Del Puerto and the entire team to all my family and friends. If you’re looking for a dentist you can trust, this is the place.

Smiles at Doral has treated me amazing! Every time I’m treated very well, the wait time is short, and the staff are very friendly! One of the best local dentist offices I’ve been to in South Florida! Very accommodating and helpful! They’re especially great with Invisalign, very organized and the doctor is amazing! She’s very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommended coming here 🙂

I went to this dentist after being referred by my goddaughter, after speaking with the dentist on the phone it was agreed I would come in for x rays, a sonogram of my mouth and a debriding. Up to there, no problem. I showed up and was assisted by the hygienist, a very professional woman who explained everything she was doing. Again, no problem. I paid and left, only thing is I have a molar that lost a filing that is about 2/3 of the tooth itself. I also have lost filings on a canine. Needless to say, I need to get this addressed. Here at this location, or elsewhere. I called and asked if they accepted HMO plans after my initial visit, because I was thinking of getting one. They do not. Without insurance a deep cleaning alone was quoted at $350 a quadrant so 4 quadrants would be $1,400 cash. To say nothing of the extraction, new filing, the cavity and maybe a bridge. Fine. Not a prob, everyone charges what they want. The problem is I have asked multiple times for my x rays and sonogram and have been given every excuse why it wasn't sent out. First, that someone in office sent them by email to someone else (violates HIPPA), then that the doctor needs to see me and needs them (if the office shares them they keep a copy), but the doctor is out of office tending to her mother who had an accident. Then that the files are too large to send in one email (a standard email has a capacity of up to 25mb. I suggested they could send a zip file, multiple emails, attachments inside the email) they countered with I could also go back to the location and get them on a USB drive. The office is about 14 miles from my house. It's been one thing after another. I have kept the screenshots of my requests with the office, so there is no misunderstanding. I need to get my teeth fixed and it has been nearly 1 month and my teeth keep deteriorating. So, I write this review and will contact the AMA to find out which office takes the formal complaint. Apparently this office thinks I am playing because I am courteous and understanding to a fault. I'm also from this city and understand what a run around is and what negligence looks like. Under the law, I am entitled to the x rays and sonograms, even if I had not paid, which I did pay. No office, no dentist and no doctor has the right to keep your medical records, at all. Also, I stated I would sign a document requesting formally the x-rays and sonogram, and nothing came of it. I'm sorry their mother had an accident but this is business, and I am a paying client. 1 month of this nonsense is enough. Any doctor visit that has to end with a formal complaint about negligence and HIPPA violation is not a good one. I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone.

Receiving my Invisalign treatment from here and the entire team is amazing to work with! When a problem arises, they’re always able to fit me in as my schedule can be unpredictable. They’re very kind and caring and truly try to work with you. Would definitely recommend for any dental work!
