I book an appointment, over a month out. Show up to my appointment, fill out all said paperwork then get told their machine was down and that they needed to reschedule me. So I did that, show up to my appointment. Constantly got talked to in a stern voice about insurance and etc, it was beyond me how rude staff was. My sister went here with no complaints months back and did not have to pay at time of appointment. I had to pay full at the end of my appointment, I asked them why and they laughed.
Best dentist I've been to in a very long time! They saved the tooth that I was scared to let the last (dentistry on 5th👎) touch. Thank yal so much!
I had a cleaning done and I knoticed some stains on my teeth. They got me in right away got them off and didn't charge me for the follow up. I would recommend this place.
Literally tried to schedule and some of the worst customer service. What I Alhamdulillah dealing with is an emergency and clearly they do not care.
My daughter was treated at this office. They were easy to work with and did good work.
Please please go somewhere else. First, they had 4 patients all with the same time appointments with one dentist. I was seen 20 min after my appointment time. Dentist was very rough(I’ve had them run their hands on the inside of my lips to see my gums but never had my lip literally pulled). I was told my tooth needed to be pulled out and u had to wait for insurance to even get a cleaning done. I went for a 2nd opinion an hour later and was told I just needed a root canal and my tooth could be saved.
Update!! This was my first time there. They're not very personable the receptionist rushes you. The dentist just seems like she's rushing and not trying to do quality work She was very rough with my mouth and my gums. She tried to give me a lecture on my health with vaping. She just seems to be out to get money and that's it Not due quality work. It seems more like she wanted to see how much work she could do and collect from my medicaid insurance. When I told her she was being too rough she proceeded to say sorry but continued to be rough and I had to tell her to stop You're hurting me. The mouth is a very sensitive part of your body. If she was like this at the initial visit I can only imagine what she's like after she cleans my teeth or corrects the cavity. I basically wasted an hour and a half of my time because she didn't do any cleaning because she wanted to send it into the insurance first for deep cleaning. I've been going to my family dentist for over 15 years and they've never once wanted to do this on me It's only because I recently switched insurance I have to come here. I am looking for a different dentist to do the work on my mouth because my intuition is telling me don't let her do it or else I will be in regret She tried telling me that my previous fillings needed to be replaced soon My dentist just put these in last year makes no sense Who needs to replace fillings for no reason? He's been practicing dentistry for over 40 years maybe longer and is one of the best in the city so for her to say that about his work was insulting. I'm probably not going to go back there because she will probably leave me in so much pain If I let her correct one of my or do a deep cleaning. Treats us like objects and not people just seems to be out to get money from the state. ALLEGEDLY. I've never been in a position in life where I had to use Medicaid until now. Made me very sad and disappointed today. Update: 4 months later I just so happened to be driving past and I stopped in there because I never got a call about my reminder appointment they're shut down there's a note on the door that read: Dear valued customers, Our top priority is the well-being of our patients, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe. In light of the evolving pandemic and out of consideration for the safety of you, your family and our staff We are following an exceeding the ADA, IDA and CDC recommendations and guidelines. We are taking the necessary and extra precautions to sanitize the office before and after every patient. Thank you for your understanding in this situation. Iowa Dental PC Something tells me they got shut down all the lights were off it was just after 9:00 this morning when they should be open it looks dormant in there and like it has been for a minute. No cars in the parking lot. Nobody cleaning anything. That looks like an outdated sign from the covid time. They just put it up to justify why they're closed. My intuition was right also another thing that stood out to me is they don't even give out floss and new toothbrushes like most dentists do that was very odd. The assistant looked like she was barely over 18 if at all and there's no way she could have went through dental hygiene school allegedly to be an assistant in a dental office. Everything is allegedly. I just happen to be a psychic medium and something didn't feel right. Why do they still have a mask sign up when covid has been over? Strange. Update6/25: I have recently returned to my regular dentist with new insurance it turns out she wasn't even really cleaning my teeth she was doing a basic surface clean that did nothing and just let the plaque build up on my teeth so I went 3 months ago I'm going again to my regular dentist to get back on track. They had to seriously deep clean my mouth due to her work not being sufficient. Whenever I would go here that would be in the chair for maybe 10 minutes and then she was done and my teeth color was changing so this just confirmed she wasn't cleaning well.
