Today I had enough and went to another dentist to get my tooth pulled after going to urgent care, emergency, and two dentist offices since Thursday! If you don't advocate for yourself, no one else will. I ended up getting a root canal and now I am able to talk, my face swelling has gone down, and I can actually drink water without feeling pain. Highly recommend Oakwood Dental it was by far the best experience I had at dentist office. I drove 30 mins on a Sunday call at 10am they got me in at 230pm . No wait time, very kind and patient with me . I have found my new dentist I’m never going anywhere else .
If I could give zero stars, I would. What my family experienced at this dental office was absolutely unacceptable — no one should ever be subjected to such unprofessional and negligent treatment. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that compassion and basic human decency were missing. We waited over 15 minutes without so much as a greeting. When we were finally called in, there were no questions about our concerns, pain, or dental issues. The hygienists were rough and careless, skipping procedures as they pleased and treating us more like inanimate objects than people. It was disturbing. The entire staff — from the front desk to the dental assistants, hygienists, and even the dentist — behaved in a way that can only be described as robotic, rushed, and completely detached. The dentist barely acknowledged us, hurried in and out of the room, and when she finally asked a question, she walked away before we could even answer. We literally had to chase her down the hallway just to speak with her. Afterward, we were left sitting in the room with no communication, no closing remarks, not even a simple "you’re all set." We had to ask if we were allowed to leave. Absolutely unbelievable. And let me be clear — this wasn’t an isolated incident. This has been our experience for at least the last three visits. I tried to be patient, thinking maybe it was just a bad day. But the poor treatment, the lack of care, and the alarming staff turnover have made it clear: something is deeply wrong here. Every time we come in, there are new, inexperienced staff members who clearly don’t want to be there. The environment is cold, impersonal, and chaotic. We’re actively searching for a new dental office. I wouldn’t wish this kind of treatment on anyone.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! This was my first time ever going to the dentist and it was honestly such a great experience. I usually get really uncomfortable and even throw up during numbing, but Dr. Shadiya Ahmed did an amazing job and made me feel super comfortable the whole time. I didn’t feel anything at all. The assistants were also very kind and explained everything that was going on, and they were really professional. The front desk staff were also very nice and worked with me really well. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I’m really glad, will be switching this to my primary dentist!
I thought that this place was the one, but after experiencing the pain and the issue with a tooth that was not correctly done. According to another dentist.I'm not going here anymore. They just want the insurance money. I had to go somewhere else to get a roof and now done on a tooth. And there was nothing wrong with it. And it was because they talked me into taking my old fillings out of my mouth that nothing was wrong with. And totally messed up everything. I had a root canal and a crown put on that I didn't want. And still haven't issue. Reporting!
My son is non verbal Autistic , and although they could not help him they could at least get him a X ray with the standing x ray. Overall very helpful as they could see an infection and they could give him antibiotics and pain medication . Amazing helpful staff !! I highly recommend!! 😊💕
My dentist assistant was very informative with explaining my deep cleaning process and following up work once the Dentist was finished and my Dentist as always was A1 on prepping me for the procedure and with actually cleaning my teeth. If your looking for a good Dentist I recommend here.
Had my molar extracted and it was completely painless. Dr. Ahmed is amazing ! Will be coming back here for everything. Staff is beyond amazing and nice.
