Destiny Dental - Dearborn

Made an appointment for today, back in October. Confirmed that appointment with the doctor and the receptionist. Got out of work early today for the appointment…I’m not on the schedule. Was told to schedule a new appointment. Now I have to miss more work. Thanks for the terrible scheduling guys…

So originally my review would’ve been bad almost a year ago.. but I’ve decided to try again this year in 2024. I’m glad I did completely different vibes & staff.. the receptionist, dental hygienist & dental assistants are all great!! Me & my daughter go to this dentist office.. they do great work, very informative, and understanding. I always need preauthorizations & it’s always approved before my visit, so I never have to worry about that. I’ve had extractions & fillings at this location & never an issue. My 17 year old daughter has had her cleanings & fillings here & haven’t complained. So if you’re in need of a dentist give them a try..

Very strange experience, first the place needs some upgrades, like new carpet without holes in it, walls without peeling paint and some chairs that's aren't taped together ☹️ I will not be going back. Also in all my 60+years I've never had a dentist clean my teeth and she didn't do a good job if it. The X-ray machine is almost extinct.

Staff was banging on the desk speaking to the insurance company, had a 2 PM appointment, which they confused my name with another and almost gave me the wrong procedure, then when it was my actual turn, they hadn’t checked insurance, not familiar if they were even in network, and overall unprofessional. Lastly, if you’re a medical office responsible for cleaning peoples teeth, at least have a clean office space to reflect you do a good job.

Very Bad Appointment Management! I've been coming here for 3-yrs and the wait time as always been questionable. Today I had a 1pm appt. and at 1:50p I was still in the lobby. Of course, I was told they're getting my room ready. Needless to say, I was still waiting; decided to walk out and never to come back. They don't respect your time, only the money, and will stack patients in the lobby waiting to be seen. If they don't value my time then they don't need my business.

Wish I could give these dummy’s a half of star don waste yo time unless u want yo insurance to be ran up and shut getting done

Was seen on 4/30 and told my tooth had an infection they asked for my pharmacy name never sent the medication til this very day I am fighting the infection all why getting short of breath daily. I may not have went with the correct approach but when you called multiple times and the doctor is never available and you still haven’t received medication the script was never wrote instead of taking accountability they are holding back my medication
