I honestly feel that this School of Denistry is a very good place to go for anyone needing dental care. My second visit and having Judson taking care of me has been OUTSTANDING!!! Judson along with the two Doctors/Instructors gave me more care and understanding than I ever got from dealing with dentists over my 70 years. The Radiology Department was TOP notch and cared for me. The Dental School had State of the Art equipment and every place from the parking garage to check in to each floor that I was on was exceptionally clean. Appointment staff and billing personnel were very helpful and courteous. THANK YOU TEXAS A&M SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY AND THANK YOU JUDSON.

Im absolutely traumatized by my last 2 appointments, I had to get both rows of teeth removed. I know they are students, but the lady i had was dismissive and to my concerns. I knew she wasn't injecting my numbing agent correctly but she patted my shoulder and said that was just because she was really good at injecting it.of course it didn't work correctly 😒. And the real dentist came over and finished correctly, and that was only my first appointment . The 2nd appointment the exact same thing happened but this time the dentist didn't come fix the numbing issues until I literally had to get stitches because shr literally butchered me. She not only broke multiple teeth but she haf to cut my gums open and filed my jaw down and finally, after 4 HOURS OF TORTURE AND INCONSIDERATION, she finally got the doctor, after she did one stitch that took 20 minutes, and he saw that I wasn't numbed correctly, he profusely apologized and numbed 2 stitches of the procedure, I feel this is unjustifiable torture that im expected praise her for, I do understand she is a student but she let pride get in the way of education, at any point she could have stopped and asked for help, and I suffered profusely because of that, I do thank you though , because I will finally have a real smile for my sons and daughters.. sincerely Lori T

People warned us about going to this place, we should have listened. They were all excited to pull out all of my husband’s teeth, gave us a plan to get him into dentures. They talked about how they really need to practice extractions. And they did need the practice, quite rough, super janky stitches. But for the price, if all you need is a simple extraction, it’s ok. If you need more than that, avoid this place! As soon as it was time to give him the affordable dentures, they dropped him as a patient. I really think this place just preys on low income people to get more extraction practice. They promise whatever you need to hear to get you to let them yank all of the teeth out of your head, then leave you that way. They called to schedule him, we made an apt, then they sent us a letter saying they were dropping him bc they were unable to schedule him. We called (days before his apt) and the apt just "disappeared" and they wouldn’t reschedule.

NO STARS. Last seen in clinic three weeks ago, I'm waiting for surgery to be scheduled. During this time I'm on antibiotics, and need to stay on these meds until surgery. No surgery update and prescription has run out. Attempts to refill or secure new RX have gone unanswered. NOW, 4:40 pm on a Friday afternoon they fax my pharmacy with a refusal. No follow up with me to address my Care through the weekend, AND the Clinic phone is set to VM before scheduled closing time of 5:00 pm. I'm a Stage IV cancer patient, infection of any kind is a serious concern, that must be monitored and treated accordingly. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of response, scheduling, follow up and care provided by this Team. Do better.

Most awful experience here. Spend months trying to call and schedule an appointment and once I finally get one I drove over 2 hours to Dallas and once I got there lady at the desk said since I was a few minutes late to my appointment I would need to reschedule. I say okay whatever and I then asked for a doctors note for my school which they said they can't give me because I wasn't seen by the dr. Absolute waste of time and money because I had to pay for parking. Please go ANYWHERE else!!! It seems like none of these people know what they're doing or what's going on in that office😭💔

I will update review after my wisdom teeth removal appointment. Getting scheduled was a bit of a chore because the semester just started and staffing was low. I followed the number on the line for wisdom teeth removal and waited forever only to google and find another phone number for the program coordinator who referred me to the screening option to get scheduled because an xray was needed I guess. Everyone i spoke with on the call was incredibly friendly. They told me to come to the 6th floor, check-in, go to 5th for x-ray pay there, and then go back to the 6th floor. i should have confirmed address when scheduling because they have a lot of buildings. The location I have my appointments at, the physical address is 3000 Gaston Avenue. Much closer to the Dart Station than the address I am leaving review on for the dental school. I scheduled an early appointment in the day thinking I would have to wait forever to be seen because of all of the reviews, but when i got there they sent me to 5th floor. Thankfully i was early too and got an xray right away and was sent to 6th floor and made it there at 9am sharp, my appt time. Paperwork took about 15 minutes to fill out. I returned it, the lady at front checked me in, sat down, and my name was called. All of the staff I worked with was incredibly friendly. They operate like a big machine. The doctor who saw me said he may not be the doctor who works on me. Whoever is available for the time slots they take the baton and do the work. He said he would try to be here for it and or if I didnt like him he can ask another doctor to see me. LMAO He was funny, nice, very elaborate, and made sure to explain everything about the process and what is happening to my teeth, gum, and face (partially swollen) and asked if I had any other questions and then I was off. I was out and back at the train station by 10am. Crazy. I have to remind myself I am impoverished and am so blessed to find an afforable place to get my wisdom teeth removed without medical or dental insurance. Fees associated: Patient appt is $80 xray $54 Wisdom tooth removal is $120 per tooth Second appointment was scheduled at 8am. Doors do not open until 7:45am. Front doors happened to be broken so entry was via the parking garage, essy to find. I arrived before front desk staffing, but was first to be checked-in after payment for the surgery. The appointment itself was super easy. I was out by 8:30. Dr. Green was the doctor I dealt with both times and he said it was an easy extraction and only estimated to be 15 minutes and that was exactly right. Very thorough, well informed, and overall great experience. I highly recommend this place.

Terrible process of waiting months for a screening appointment which lead to another appointment for a total of two sets of x-rays. After two appointments I was accepted into the program as a patient only for me to wait another month for the 3rd appointment in which they told me they could not help me and referred me to another department. So now this is 3 months into the process now the department I was referred to is not accepting new patients and the receptionist said patients often get caught in the middle due because the departments don’t communicate before the referral is sent. Therefore, she has "no idea" when they are accepting new patients again it could be over a year. So if you really need dental care it’s a waste of time for them to likely refer you to a department that is not even taking new patients. Then I have to wait and go through another process to get a refund on some services. It’s really unfair to have a someone come back several times just to find out that they have to go to an outside dentist anyway just have more clarity and don’t waste months of someone’s time thinking they are accepted as patient when really they are not. A patient should be informed the first visit that they may be possibly be referred to another department that doesn’t except new patients anyway. I was told by the receptionist after the 3rd visit that it’s too expensive to have a student provide my dental care due to what I need done. I really wish I knew that 3 months ago; I spent a lot gas driving to Dallas and the hours spent at those appointments required time off work all for pretty much no dental care not even a cleaning. Just find a dentist that will work with your budget before you waste months as a so called patient here.
