Dr. John is the best dentist in OC. He is very thorough and honest! I have been his patient for years and continue to refer my family and friends. Everyone is extremely happy with the care he provides us. Halyna is an excellent dental hygienist. Best teeth cleaning you will ever experience.

I've been meaning to write a review for a while, but life got busy. However, I'll never forget the exceptional service and friendly personable staff here. Dr. John Nguyen and Melissa took care of my oral health, provided lots of updated education on my conditions, were gentle with my sensitive gums & teeth as well as were extremely personable. They even give you sunglasses for the bright lights--never seen any dental or medical provider so absolutely considerate of clients' needs! I wish I could return, but my insurance had changed. Definitely going back if I could!

I've been going to the same family dentist since I was a kid and I finally decided to switch because I didn't like how my gums were always swollen and bleeding after the every visit. I found this office after searching for a good dental office on google. Although this office is a little bit of a farther drive for me, I don't mind being stuck in traffic for the quality care I'm receiving. I wish I had switched to them sooner. Great attention and service. Dr. John explains everything everything thoroughly and came up with a detailed treatment plan for my needs. The front desk were very friendly and helpful in explaining the cost and what the insurance is estimated to cover and my patient portion. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a high quality care office that treats you like family.

Dr John is super friendly and greeted my husband and I when we arrived. The staff are nice and professional. I was able to make two appointments same day for two teeth cleanings. I feel like I received a quality cleaning. The staff and experience we're great. Thank you Coastal Family Dental!

I came to Coastal Family Dental after not having the best experience with another office in the area and wow I was super happy with the experience I got! Starting with calling the office to make an appointment and get more info about insurance coverage everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful. I let them know I wasn’t sure if I would get my past X-ray records in time for the appointment and the person on the phone was super nice. They offered to and did call the other office for me and reassured me that it would be okay if I didn’t have the records. At the actual visit Dr. Nguyen spent time explaining to me what it was he was looking for to determine the health of my gums and took time to go through my concerns with me. I had quite a few questions about my overall mouth health and Dr. Nguyen never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or dismissed anything I was worried about. He gave me all the information I needed in order to get a grasp on what I should do moving forward. I’m looking forward to coming here for my future cleanings!

I have been going to this dentist for about a year now and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and I always feel so welcome. Dr. Nguyen and his team really listen and care. They have helped address all of the concerns I was having, making me feel more comfortable about my overall mouth health. I really do leave smiling every time...with clean teeth! I would definitely suggest visiting if you haven't already.
