I've had teeth issues my whole life and Dr. Duong is the best dentist I've ever had. In fact, as much as I dislike dentists, I have no anxiety when I go to this office and that's saying a lot for me! The Doc takes his time with you, explains everything honestly and thoroughly and is just a really nice person. The staff is very efficient and overall it's a wonderful experience. If you need a dentist in the Fairview/Wilson area, I highly recommend Coastal Dental Group and Dr. Duong!

Before i begin, i would like to said thank you to Dr. Duong & Dr. Phan who had put so much work , and delicately , Perfection, to my bad damage teeth. The anxiety of going to the dentist is real for me, After 10+ years of putting off the dentist due to embarrassment and fear, i finally found the BEST DENISTY in Orange County, Dr. Duong & Dr. Phan and his crew are extremely professional, kind, hard working and understanding. The procedure was seemingly painless and the recovery process has also been painless. If you are someone who is afraid or hesitant to get dental work done this is the place for you. I cannot thanks the team at Coastal dental Group enough for fixing my biggest insecurity and doing it with kindness and care. I am so Grateful Beyond words can describe Peace begin with a smile ,it is the universal language of kindness, Life is short. Smile while you still have teeth 🙂 ❤️ ♥️ 😃

Great Dentistry practice. Very clean and gentle service, highly recommend for locals in the city of Costa Mesa in Orange County California.

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. Dr. Derek Duong is highly knowledgeable, patient and gentle. He listens to your concerns. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. I almost destroyed my tooth from other Dentist suggested me to have a root canal to one of my tooth that has a small cavity.( with is unnecessary and unethical). I’m glad went to Dr. Duong, he saved my tooth and explained very well what was going on. I end up just have to patch up the filling. I like his work bc he doesn’t try to fix what is not broken. The staffs Susan and Judy are also courteous and very helpful. I would recommend Costal Dental group, Dr Duong is a great dentist!!!

If the free xray is broken and they want you to get the fancy $300 3D xray, run! They charged me (and insurance) over $2000, MISDIAGNOSED my trouble tooth!!! (using the fancy Xray!) and gave me permanent nasal damage (I suffer from to this day) from unnecessary surgery. Doctor (Vietnamese man) is a nice guy and I feel bad writing this (I waited 2 years for nasal passage to heal but it didn't), and I hope to be the only one who went through this, but I definitely regret going here.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Duong and his staff - very pleasant and professional. They put the patient's care first, going above and beyond with excellent service. Dr. Duong really seems to have a passion to help patients in need of dental care. He has masterfully perfected his skill.

They really care about making everything as painless as possible. Best dentists I've ever been too. I used to be afraid to go for check ups but I know they will always make sure to numb me fully before they start.
